Feature request: round ride distances to the 10th of a mile, not the 100th. As so often happens, my recent ride of 40 miles - as reported on my Wahoo BOLT, showed as a 39.97 mile ride in Strava. Many of my cycling buddies are in the habit of riding extra parking lot laps to get a 10th over the even target mileage of a ride to make sure Strava gives them credit. The simple change of not reporting distance with precision that bike computers don’t show would solve the problem.

Hello @Dougbaron

Thanks for posting about this.  If I'm understanding correctly, your concern is that Strava usually shows a little less distance than your recording device, is that correct?  This can happen whether we display distance to the 10th or 100th decimal place.

The reason this happens is that recording devices may round up distances, whereas Strava rounds down. Distances are always stored in meters on devices and then shown on Strava in the athlete's preferred units (miles or kilometers).  Similarly, if on your device you record until you see 1.00 miles, that might actually be something like 1608.0 meters (0.9994 miles) and Strava will show 0.99 miles.

Below is a link to an article where this is discussed in detail.  This discussion was specifically about Garmin devices, but the same thing applies for Wahoo.
