Hi

It is possible to maximize or minimize elevation in the Route planning.

It would be great to be able adjust the route gradient to. Elevation is not always a showstopper, but crazy gradients can be.

I am a gravel addict and I like to ride my bike and not carry it.

When planning a route in new terrain it would be great to be able to remove MTB style trails by limiting the gradients to a specific value. like +/-5%, +/-10% or similar. A slider selection would better than fixed values.

Visualising the gradient on the map by changing the color of the route would be a nice touch too.

Best regards

Bjarke

Thanks for submitting your idea on limiting the gradient during route creation. It has been reviewed by our moderation team and is now open to voting.

Good morning all. An app route planner without an elevation profile is not so useful. We're talking about an app that is assumed to be our guide in the mountains. Obviously the colour based gradient shown on it would be precious. Please add these features.

Ciao Bryant. Thanks for the answer. I mean an elevation graph/profile during app route planning. Strava desktop shows it but the app shows just a number (total ascent)

For routes created on the desktop version or mobile app, I'd like to be able to see:

- Significant climbs, descents (similar to how caltopo does this for the elevation chart. Example here: https://caltopo.com/m/KT800)

preview.png

- The average grade of the route (once saved and during creation). For example, a 2 mile route with 1056 feet would be an average of 10% grade.

- The steepest climb and steepest descent

I'm sure there are other things that can be added here.. but this is just a start

Hi,

Just subscribed for route planner.

I love that i can prioritize elevation gain. I love that segments are displayed on the map. However, i would like to be able to filter segments by elevation gain category like in the segment filter. I would like also to search for a segment name in the "build the route" section, to go from segments to other segments.

What do you think?
