When planning a route from A to B, add the option in the route planner to automatically take the same way back (B to A). It can be a bit tedious to create waypoints for the way back when that way is exactly the same as the way out.
I recommend using the "reverse route" option to create a route for the way back. You can duplicate an existing route, then edit it to reverse the route. You can access the reverse route option it from the Route edit page as shown below:
@Jane I just checked this on the website. Reverse route literally just reverses an existing path but it does not add the return to the original path. So if A to B is 5km, my idea of "same way back" is to add B to A to that, which is a total of 10km. Also, having this on the mobile app would be good.
