Hello ! Several people I know (including myself ) use Strava to record our trail work. At present I record it as a hike. It would be great if there was a "Trailwork" activity setting. Thankyou!- DY
Your idea has been shared with the product team. Right now, we aren't exploring the possibility of adding/implementing this feature, and your suggestion will be archived. TrailWork: Building and maintaining trails should absolutely be a Strava sport!
As many of us get older, we ride less and build and maintain trails more. We also look for others doing the same, so if TrailWork were to be its own Strava sport, we could use the heatmap feature to potentially find other like minded folks and join in.
For many, many people TrailWork: building and maintaining trails, is a big deal and often consists of a unique combination of digging, shaping, hiking, riding and more. No one category fits.
And actually, I know a few people who no longer ride at all, but only do TrailWork for the community.
