Why is there no way to view segments on the map made by ebikers?  I can view cycling, walking and running.  I made several ebike segments that are public not private, but nothing on the map shows a way to view ebike segments.  I'd like to see if anyone else happened to make any in my city and have others able to see the ones I've made all the same as if they were on a regular pedal bike.

These is definitely a feature that's missing. And so stressful..
Especially for those who use the ebike for gravity, it would be lovely to find the segments on the map where you can jump in and compete..

And instead we have to be lucky to catch some segment during the tour. Especially in unfamiliar areas.

Although I think this is just one of many problems with ebike on strava... Ideally, there should be unique segments for all cycling sports.

And then whoever has the ebike is put in a separate ranking.
Personally, I can't find a reason, why the segments should to be different...

Many people put the ebike in segments for bikes, only because it can't find the segments,  because they are badly managed or they can't compare with the times..

I belive this distinction causes more problems than it solves.. and these request it's only part of a bigger problem, which should all be solved all together not in many single spot

Hello @N00DlesHead and everyone else who took the time to add your votes and comments. We are happy to announce that this feature has been implemented as of today. You can now search for segments for all Sport Types, including E-Bike Ride on the website under "Segment Explore".

@EPICO - in the app, you only have ride and run, but on the website, you can search all activity types.

Working for me.... Laptop/Windows 11..... Thanks. Haven't had much chance to play with it but it looks good so far.

@EPICO It's in the "Segment Explore", not in the "Segment Search". The last one is useless anyway, even it could use other activity types.

Hello, I got Premium yesterday and tried this morning ebike live segments here in Spain.

Still not works, or I'm doing sometging wrong?

I have all my ebike segments starred since time before. May I have to make it new?

I'm using a Hammerhead Karoo 2. All connected, I could see a normal livesegment (without ebike), but no ebike segments.

Thanks for help

EBike live segments aren't implemented yet. There is another thread for that.

I wish it would show many of the segments that already exist and sort e-bikes into a separate class. I've been using Strava for years and making e-bikes start over from scratch with segments really sucks.

I’m almost 60 now and have recently switched over to pedal assist e-MTB. I’m beginning to hear grumbling from other MTB riders about it not being fair to participate in the MTB segments with an e-bike. I can understand this but when I select e-MTB on the app before my ride there are no segments. I’ve read the articles about creating new e-MTB segments. I can tell you that I spent three hours one night on my desktop computer trying to duplicate existing MTB segments to e-MTB. What a pain in the butt. Turns out that not only is it time consuming but NONE of the segments I made showed up when I rode the next day. I’m wondering why it is up to me to reinvent the wheel so to speak. Why am I paying $80 a year for this app? Seems as though it would be simpler for Strava to just make every segment open to all the activities. Am I wrong about this? I keep reading all these comments from folks having the same problem. Does Strava just not care? This is a problem that has been going on for YEARS. I told my wife that I guess I’ll just have to quit using Strava. I’ve enjoyed using it just about every day for a long time now, tracking my progress on the segments of my favorite trails. I’m just not interested in listening to other riders **bleep** about me having an unfair advantage anymore. I hope that Strava fixes this. Until then, I think I’m done with it.

@d_day2613 - Do your segments show up in your “my segments” list on the web browser version of Strava?  Look in the menus for “my Segments”, then click on the tab for “created segments.”  You should see a list of all of the ones you created.  If you don’t see anything there, then maybe something happened with how you created them so they didn’t get saved.  Also, make sure that you created them as an e-bike segment (can only be done using an e-bike ride file).

Hi d-day,

Strava just don't care. You can spent your time to make e-bike segments, but don't can use them as live segments.

Absolutely agree that it is unacceptable that cycling segments are not simply open to ebikes - I cannot imagine that is so difficult to program...! Get with it Strava, we're paying you good money for the services!

Hi, with the new version of strava in the "maps" now is not possible to find some ebikes segments that in the old version was able...another step back...great.
