I think it would be great for Strava to add a trophy room into the app so athletes can see all of their trophies in a display case.
What is it?
The Trophy Room is a virtual representation of all the trophies, medals, and races that an athlete has collected over many years of activity. the trophy room includes a huge display case so that all the virtual trophies, crowns, and marathon medals are displayed.
Why is it important?
This is important because athletes generally keep all their real-world medals in one location. This would create a virtual component of all medals and allow athletes to explore the trophy room virtually. It is important because athletes like to share it with their childre, family, and friends to motivate them to play sports.
How does it work?
I think there can be different versions of the trophy room. The current trophy case in the app is 2D.
V1: can just be through the app so we see all the trophies and medals on a table, display case, or wall in 3D. We can move around the trophy room by zooming in and out on the screen like Google Maps. We can move around. V1 is like Super Smash Bros Melee trophy room with thousands of trophies.
V2: Everything like V1 but also allows customization. Moving trophies around. Buying new display cases or tables to fit everything in the virtual room.
V3: Everything like V1/V2, but includes AR tech to allow you to put your trophy room in the real world of your home with camera.
V4: Everything like V1/V2/V3, but also allows you to visit the trophy room with virtual reality glasses.
