OK. I do a hike and I track it with Strava.Strava says the finished track is 5.96 miles.I export the gpx file, then import that gpx into OS maps. (Ordnance Survey)OS says the route is 4.77 miles.Does anyone know why?

Is there a current issue with the Strava app (iOS)? I have been getting an error message all day since about 10am. I kept getting a “something went wrong. please try again” in the morning so I logged out and now I can’t log back in the app. I know username and pwd are correct since I can login fine on a browser. I deleted the app and tried again. Still not workingI tried the authentication using google as suggested but I get the same error message. 

Hi! I recently completed a run with Strada recording the miles on my Apple `Watch. I completed the activity, however, it is not showing on the app- it just seems to have disappeared. Is there anyway to get the activity to show on my phone?    

Hi folks,I just finished a ride and got 2 KOMs, but upon checking on Strava it looks like they are not counting toward the segment leaderboards. Can someone from Strava please help me understand as a paid user why I can't share links? Or when this feature might be available again? I can't share links for tracking while doing ultra cycling races. Nor can I share videos I've put together after for others to watch from these efforts. This is really tempting for me to cancel my membership with Strava because the platform continues to ignore this. Or the ability to link a route that wasn't created on Strava? This is so simple but you've got extreme to disable this feature.

All-time PRs, all-time PBs are great.However the perfomance and regularity might vary over the time.But it would be good (and motivating) to also see the PRs, BEs of the current year (either for the current calendar year-to-date, or a sort of 12-month rolling)  

Recently the icon for velomobile rides changed to the most icon thinkable. Everyone I asked was complaining about it just like me. The old icon was most elegant and much more precise in reflecting the shape of the well known velomobiles. The current icon looks like a small car and is not aerodynamic at all. Please can you change the icon for velomobile rides back to the old one?

I've been using the Firefox browser for several years with no issues. A few days ago the Strava dashboard stopped displaying correctly. None of the activity is showing anymore. The stuff at the bottom of the page still appears. And the links to "your recent activities" at the bottom of the page still work. See attached screenshots. I've opened the page in Safari and Chrome and it displays correctly in both of them. I'm not having any issue in Firefox with any other websites. I'd like to continue using Firefox, if possible.Any thoughts??

HiI’m new to this and hope someone can help! I’ve used Strava off and on to record running for years on my iphone, but without exploring detailed features.  My main sport is field hockey and I was recently excited to be given an apple watch (series 7) - meaning I could record what I’m doing on the hockey field.  But I can’t get it to record accurately on the Strava app.  Below are two images, the first, mine from tonight's training session.   The second from another player’s at the same session.  You can see the difference.  Mine only appears to pick up occasional motion for a total of 0.52 miles, the other records for 3.48 miles.  I don’t believe I’m that lazy in comparison!Last week the same happened, I thought because I recorded it as a run with “Auto-pause” on.  But this week I recorded it as Football (Soccer).    I’ve search online but can’t find what’s wrong.Can anyone please offer guidance!?Thanks!

Since many are now moving away from Xitter, can Strava be updated to share to BlueSky Social? When I tried to share my ride from within Strava, it just kept circling me back to the share screen and not opening BlueSky app. ThanksMichael

I am trying to sign up with new email, the sign up page kept saying “An unexpected error occurred. Please try again.”tried strava app and strava website, could not work.

I was accidentally charged twice for an annual subscription for the same Apple ID, on getting a refund for one of them, still with one active, I no longer have the subscription benefits in the app. How can this be resolved?

Hello, may I please receive an update regarding my request for a refund? I really had no plan to continue the subscription after the free trial ended since I only subscribed in the first place to try the app while jogging. I think I just used it once but I have no recorded activity whatsoever. I forgot to cancel the subscription before the free trial ended. The money used was supposed to be my allowance for school, so I apologize if I am about to cause an inconvenience on your end; I hope you can oblige my request for a refund. Thank you.

Hi all,how do you report a segment leader who has not walked/hiked but have recorded it as this? The person had completed on horse back but logged as run/hike which is really upsetting when your trying to do your best and this would be impossible to beat on foot uphill! any ideas? Thanks

If an activity has a large amount of splits, the elevation graph will not be aligned to the splits in the Workout Analysis view.Image showing incorrect alignment inside the view: Image showing correct alignment outside of the Analysis view: How to reproduce:1. Upload an activity with a lot of short splits in the middle. (My example had ~80 splits)2. Open the Workout Analysis view.3. The elevation graph will not align with the splits.

I recorded a hike on my Garmin Etrex with an elapsed time of 4:12:51 and moving time of 3:54:26. When it loaded to Strava the elapsed time showed as 4:12:46 which is fine but the moving time came up as 00:00:59 giving a pace of 11s/mile. A new world record! Any ideas why Strava would not pick up the correct stats from Garmin?

Longer road-bike workout with two longer pauses for lunch and snack. Measured in very same length by Edge 530 and Watch Ultra 2. Edge was placed on table (no moving) during breaks, Apple Ultra 2 rested on my arm.Difference in moving time after upload is significant - workout uploaded from Ultra 2 seems very incorrect ie. unusable.Is there anything to check? Is Strava velocity treshold too sensitive?Thanks!

Hi, Does anyone understand why when you use the 'Correct Distance' feature after posting an activity, it also updates your moving time? I use stryd for running which usually cuts off a bit of distance, but when I correct it my moving time and also average pace also changes. Surely this shouldnt happen, moving time should stay static? I:m having some pronlems last weeks with my activities.For example I had a bike vacaiton last week where I rode 4 days in row, and 2 of those show 'the total elapsed time and 2 show the moving time.I would like to change this so it always shows moving time, as total elapsed time is irrelevant  bike rides imo.Is there already an option wich I cannot find? Thanks you in advance and kind regards

Moving Time is useless, I never want the time from my watch to be different than what Strava shows. So when I need to get rid of the moving time and only use elapsed time, I set an activity to be a Race. BUT-- I went to do that today and the option isn't there.I have options for Sport, Map Type, Tags, and Shows. Where did activity type go (it had options for Workout, Long Run, Race)?

I may be confused, but I seem to be unable to find public routes on the Strava website and at the same time I cannot find my personal routes on the Strava (Android) app.   Is it just me?On the website, I can find My Routes and a "Routes" item in the footer under "Explore" that leads to a list of hiking routes (but no biking routes!?)On the app, under "Map", there is a "Saved" tab, but for the past two days, clicking "Saved Routes" returns "Server is not responding, please try again later".I ran into all this because I went for a long gravel ride yesterday and wanted to have the route on my phone, but I could not find it.   I did find out that the most popular saved route in my area is terrible -- I'm not sure why anyone would recommend it.  The recommended route puts people on a busy and dangerous major highway when there are lovely and quiet alternatives on the same loop.  I had hoped to find the recommended ride on the websit
