Add the possibility to choose a virtual ride as a RACE.

Hi, Recently I have completed a MTB endurance event of more than 100 hrs in elapsed time and more than a 1000km.  I have to upload this as a manual activity to Strava, as I have list the activity file on my bike computer. Strava, however, does not allow me to manually upload an activity of more than 100hrs or 1000km. Anyone with the same issue and advise as how to fix it?

Hi, I use Strava app on my phone and on my apple watch. I would like to ask why I am not seeing the calories burned during strength training. Same thing on the bike ride. Weight added.

Hi ! my activity of the day appears in my statistics as well as my feed. but none of my subscribers see it. I deleted and re-downloaded the application without success. what can I do?

Wonder if someone can help. My ride has gone to Strava, it counts towards weekly total, it appeared in notifications. I can open it, named it but it does not show in feed or my activities! Both on app and on desk top. Very anoying as it was very good ride :-(. I have also deleted the app and re-installed. Tried to delete the activity and uploded it throgh manual upload rather than through garmin connect. Don't know what else to do.

Hi,I synced my Oura ring today (for the first time) with my Strava app, and after that, Strava feed hasn’t updated any activities of my friends’. I can see them when searching a person and taking a look at their log, but normal feed stopped updating after connected Strava to Oura… Same problem with Strava app as well as when logging in via website.My activities of today have been transferred to Oura app correctly.Thank you so much if anyone can help!

Maybe I haven’t found the feature but I can’t see how to lock the screen on Apple Watch when starting a workout on watch. That doesn’t present a problem in summer, but it does in winter when layers of clothes around the wrists might accidentally stop or pause the activity.  

Almost all my rides are marked as ‘commute’ even during weekends. Even the one that ends at the same location I started.It’s so boring. With the new edit screen that popup every time (where commuting can’t be removed), it’s getting boring to always have to edit the rides.Could we have a location that is marked as ‘office’, so only the one that ends of starts from the office location will be marked. 

Hace un año me robaron el GPS, que tenía rutas guardadas mias y de un amigo, cada vez que lo encienden me sale.la.ruta de hace tiempo y me alertais de una ruta fraudulenta.Ya van varias veces que .pasado y se os a avisado y no hacéis nada al respecto. El GPS ha sido robado!!! A ver qué solución me dais porque aún sigo esperando.Gracias 

I did a 100mi bike ride yesterday and recorded it via the native workout app on the watch. I finished the ride and can see the workout and all the data in the Fitness app but when I hit “Import” in the Strava app to upload the workout, I just get a spinner that goes forever and the workout doesn’t upload. I’ve tried logging out and in, rebooting the phone, and reenabling health permissions. I’ve also tried recording a new workout and that new workout syncs no problem. How can I force this workout to upload?

MTB activities often show up with multiple segment names on a trail. It would be great to see times on named trail segments (by name) and perhaps indent names of segments within the trail so users can see they are within another named segment.  Might be nice to toggle off these ‘sub-segments’ and have activities show a reduced number but more useful segments.

I have five bike club events that were posted as public, open-to-all.  In other words, both the “women only” and “club member only” toggles are off.  But Strava is labelling the events as “women only” and preventing men from joining.  Event edit still shows the toggle for “women only” is off.  Would appreciate prioritizing a fix for this regression, as two of the events are tomorrow.Note that this is an issue when viewing the event with a browser.  The app properly characterizes the event and allows men to join.

About 12 days ago my Whaoo stopped syncing, I reset the device but didn’t make any difference.anyone else see this?

Hello, I am a french rider.First of all thank you for your great work. I love this application. I have been practicing electric mountain biking for some time. However, I notice that electric mountain biking activities are not counted as cycling activities, especially for the difference in altitude. They are classified in other activities. Would it be possible to classify these activities as cycling activities? thank you

Hello. I use Strava to track all of my alpine ski days because I love all the data I get when I do that. The only thing that is missing is full season stats for alpine skiing. I track just about every ski day and would like to be able to see my stats such as vertical footage and number of runs for each season. I’m not sure why there are only yearly stats available for biking running and swimming… why not all sports?

Similar to showing statistics by gear, I’d like to see performance compared by gear, with achievements for each gear, bikes mainly. Climbing on a big bike is slower than on a light bike, and combining stats across gear makes it difficult to gauge gains. Similarly for downhill segments. I could be faster down on a big bike, but what are the gains vs a short travel or different bike? If we could compare between and keep achievements within gear, it could help give insights on training.  

It would be helpful to be able to track my highest recorded heart rate and perhaps top 10 heart rates and dates or links to activities when they occurred 

I would really like turn by turn navigation.

Hi, I use the Apple Workout to record my swims. It syncs fine to Strava , except, for the first 500 yards or so the heart rate does not show up on Strava. Any ideas why?

As an administrator of a Strava club with over 3,000 members, I want to share the challenges we face when trying to organize meaningful activities for our community, especially when it comes to creating club-wide challenges. Currently, there is no dedicated feature for this, which makes it extremely difficult to engage all members effectively.At present, the only workaround is to create a private group challenge and manually invite members. This approach is not practical for clubs of our size and has several significant limitations:Manual Invitations: With over 3,000 members, manually inviting participants is an overwhelming task. Participation Cap: Only up to 199 athletes can be invited to private challenges, which excludes the majority of our club members. Subscription Barrier: Non-subscribers cannot join these challenges, leaving a large portion of the club unable to participate in what should

New to the Strava game. I’m creating routs, which I love, but how is there no turn by turn help?! I’m going to get lost or throw off my run with constantly trying to make sure I’m on the right path by looking at my phone. I don’t want to dead end myself or get so lost that I’m to tired to get back. 

I would like to be able to compare or filter my segment results by gear or by sport. Or show best time for each gear / sport.For example this are my segment results on 3 different bikes (and two sports) mixed together:Climbing uphil on 3 different bikes  - it’s obvious that on full susp mtb I’ll be slower than on lightweight roadbike.But in current view I’m not able to tell, if my time was fast or average for givven gear.This is the basic idea, how it may look like:  

I am very much a low pace, low mileage runner who has not really desire to be superfast. Nonetheless being able to accurately record the time I have been out running against the distance I covered in that time is important for me to assess progress. I live in an area in which GPS is dodgy to the left of me (woods) and to the right of me (heavy built up area)! I very rarely get a correct route on my run, with wild forays off track which can add up to quite a bit of extra mileage.  One run I completed said that I was running 3min km pace - seriously I am not even close to that fast, I think I am likely around 8min km pace. I have tried other ways to measure but it all gets really tiresome and when you are paying for a data collection software it would be nice to have that record distance and time.I appreciate that strava can’t be responsible for sorting out GPS signals so as a last resort if we are able to post run edit the map to iron out the kinks then at least pace co
