I have this problem several times and i consistently get a forbidden message when trying to save a route that has been shared with me from another strave user via imessage. The route opens i can see everything but when i click save it says forbidden. The only work around is to edit the route a bit and then it will save. Changing the name doesn't work either. I'm an iphone user and trying to do this via the strava app on my iphone - any help or things I might be able to try would be much appreciated.

Good morning!  I uploaded a gpx file (route) on the Strava website, hoping it would automatically synch with my Strava on my iphone. I had previously saved three routes successfully, so I have some previous experience. For some reason, the route I uploaded (successfully) on my laptop to the website, does not appear as a saved route on my Strava app on my iphone. Am I being too impatient? Does it require a lot of time? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi I am new here so maybe this is a repeated query. I just finished a ride and saved the data on the app. It even shows in the notification bar of the app that you can see the analytics by clicking. However, when I click that, it opens an earlier ride of august 19th. Also, I can’t find the Aug 21 (I.e. today) ride anywhere. Nor is it synced with health app. Did I make a mistake in saving the ride or is it something else I should do. 

Recently a new MUT opened and is quickly becoming popular with runners and cyclists.   As it was created where no path previously existed, the Strava maps don't show it and the only way to use it in route planning is via manual mode.This isn't a big deal but it did get me wondering how I could go about providing necessary info to Strava to get it added.

Dear Strava (and users),I am getting increasingly annoyed by the many irrelevant postings I experience in my Dashboard between activities. How do I get rid of or disable these?To explain: My Dashboard is my goto page when opening Strava. Normally, I will have my latest activity at the top but below that I have to scroll, scroll and scroll to get to my next activity, past a great number of posts on Gravel, How to get in shape, Tour de France and what-have-you-not... This is deeply irritating as I check in to analyse and compare activities, not to get in shape or because I don't know who won what race.I could accept my Dashboard being contaminated if my "Activity Feed" was clean as I could then just go to that page. But this page shows exactly the same as my Dashboard - so what is the meaning of having an explicit activity page if it is also contaminated?At the very least a "Show"/"Do not show" button would be nice.I recognise that my clubs "need" to

Since August 10, the Strava tile on my Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 does not start a new track. After an attempt, the tile with 4 icons returns. App permissions are active. A new track with the app works, but not with the tile. App already deleted from watch and phone. But the problem keeps coming back.

Not sure why but my swim data is not showing up in strava when synced from Huawei health ? Runs/walks are showing without any issues 

Hi, I've never ridden a gravel bike in my life. I was on a MOUNTAIN BIKE ride today, and yet again, for the like 100th time, my mountain bike ride was labeled a gravel ride. Is there not some way to set the default ride as a mountain bike ride? Everyone I rode with has mountain bike for the same ride. I've looked all over the web and can't find a way to fix this. Clearly not the end of the world, also starting to get annoying.  I don't get it. This started happening months ago -I don't own gravel bikes, and while some of the terrain I ride is also suitable for gravel, there's no way a system could look at my activity and think this was my default. After updating my ride, The map will not show up for my ride. evrything else does. I am not sure why. It used to work fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

First off, I have my feed order set to chronological. What I'm noticing is that posts completely ignore this setting and repeatedly filter up to the top of my feed.Note that I'm not talking about run/bike/swim/etc activities. I'm talking about posts, like when a pro athlete creates a post on their feed to promote their latest YouTube video or sponsorship, etc.I'm forced to read it every single time I open Strava. I'm assuming it's because the post gets a lot of engagement, but I have my feed set to chronological for a reason. It's because I don't want an algorithm to decide what I see and I don't want Strava to turn into Facebook or Instagram.

Polar Grit X logs all activities to Polar Flow, but several activities will not sync to Strava. Random activities never sync like runs, and hikes. For example, of the four activities completed on one day, the second and the third activities did not sync. Ensured Strava app up to date, uninstalled, reinstalled, still same problem. 

This feature did not work yesterday on a ride, on exactly the same route that I have done frequently before. Any suggestions for resolving the problem

Hi all. I’m recording my activities mostly with Strava app on my Apple Watch Ultra 2 and collecting heart rate stats with Garmin hrm connected to it. This setup perfectly works for running/cycling/walking/swimming, and not working at all for workouts or martial arts, such as boxing. It is not possible to wear watch during boxing training, so I’m forced to take it off, having only Garmin hrm on me. The struggle is that Apple Watch is not able to keep recording training activity when it’s off my wrist (big thanks to apple for that). So my only option to record activity is to start recording on my phone. And here is a catch - recording Strava activity using mobile phone results into missing calories, despite I have my Garmin hrm on me. My questions are:1. Is it possible to add calories for Strava activities where heart rate data is collected? I saw that only running/walking/cycling/hiking are currently supported, but I do not need high precision in those v

My cycling style hasn't changed and the equipment hasn't changed in the app either. It's about the calculated/estimated power because I don't have a powermeter. Has strava made any changes to the calculation?Best regards

Since today, I couldn't authorize my mi fitness to connect to strava in my Iphone. Is there any change in the terms of service ?

When viewing a group event, selecting the action to view the route no longer works (Android).Instead, selecting the action to view the route just takes you to the route generator function.

hi all, what can I do about not getting the QOMs I earned? I can't figure out why it's happening - I tried Refreshing stats on both Segment page and Activity page and still does not show as updated. Any ideas? 

Hi everyone, does anyone else use a TomTom watch to record their runs and then upload to Strava via the TomTom app? They announced last week that they are closing it down at the end of September, meaning users will no longer be able to upload their runs. I'm assuming I'll need to buy a new watch, but would be interested to know if there is a workaround? I have been unable to post in my New Balance Urban Mile club for a few days now.When I try to click on publish, I get an error message like the one in the attached picture. Error occures in the app and desktop devices.Can someone help me? I have already sent mail to support but no one responds.Thanks!

Why is Pace no longer being shown on the main screen? There is spare space to do this under Moving Time.Elevation is shown and frankly no one I know is interested in that, we just want to see if our pace is improving. Why did you stop showing this recently? It is making me consider moving to another app
