I recently purchased an Apple Watch (yay for me). Unfortunately, it seems to have “broken” things.  Prior to the Watch, all workouts recorded in Strava, be they native Strava recordings of runs, or cycling workouts (indoor and outdoor) reported from TrainerRoad or Wahoo were all synched back to the Health app in Apple.  Since I purchased and set up the Apple Watch, the Apple Health app is not receiving ANY workouts from Strava, even those recorded in the Strava App for the Watch. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling Strava on the phone, rebooting, and all of the steps here (https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216917527-Health-App-and-Strava).  I’ve a ticket open with the help desk, but have not heard back yet. Closely related, would love the Action Button on my Ultra to be able to launch Strava.

I accidentally deleted my account. The email said it can’t be undone but PLEASE tell me someone can undo it and save all my history!! 💔🤯

For RUNNERS strava live segments on Garmin devices are a great help to motivate and improve. BUT, when you are 40+ yo running a segment fast, trying to improve your PR, is difficult to read the very small characters, on a screen that is not practical to see running fast. You can fall trying to read it ... and then the sections with descent are limited? But if the problem is the small print. Improve this aspect, please! Thank you. (in other devices like Polar, it seems better implemented, for runners)

Sempre utilizei meu Galaxy Watch 4 LTE para coletar as atividades e tudo sempre funcionou perfeitamente, mas no dia 08 deste mês, percebi o erro!! O erro consiste em apresentar como dispositivo utilizado o GARMIN EDGE 305 ou invés de apresentar SAMSUNG HEALTH. Não fiz nenhuma mudança no portal Strava e nem no meu Galaxy Wacth 4. Zwift Ride did not post correctly in Strava. Ride was interrupted by short power failure. Got everything back up and running. Zwift appeared to show that I was re-joining the interrupted ride and accrued mileage from there. When activity was ported to Strava it only shows mileage and history up to the power failure. Strava also shows a prompt on the activity record that reads "Processing media  tap to see progress" at the top. But it never changes or makes any progress. I tried to download the .fit file and upload manually but Strava indicates that it is a duplicate and does not overwrite the short distance file that was posted. Any ideas? THX

I run with my mobile phone strapped to my arem. A couple of times recently I can't save the run properly and see the data - it just says that the run is syncing - on some kind of endless loop. I can't see the details on my laptop either. Is there anyway I can fix this? It's really irritating as I'm trying to build up towards a 10k and it would be really useful. I don't want to just delete the info.  I haven't yet tried exporting it as a GPX file which is one of the options given.

Hi, I have a series 8 watch and all health connections enabled but no calorie count is showing up on my Strava when I run, can someone advise?

I'm not sure how important navigation is to many on here, but I recently upgraded from an Edge 520 to the Edge 1040, and the navigation capabilities are so much better... it even alerts to upcoming dangerous (tight) corners! If I can muster the energy, I may put a quick post together on here about my experiences so far with the 1040 (navigation: great, sync: bad).  

I feel I have to do loads of effort in Zwift. Also my w/kg is not matching the real power I am doing. For example, yesterday in a 23km race (E) had an average of 222W but finished last and 5 minutes behind guys with an average power lower than 100W. I would like to know what could I do to calibrate this issue. It started after I changed my bike on the trainer as before I could easily do 2W/kg.

Hi there, I’ve tried the steps in the article here. Something weird I noticed is that I managed to get the 4 runs I did in Dec imported. However, I can’t seem to get my 1st Jan 2023 run sync to the the app. Is there a bug or is there something that I did wrongly? the only difference I noticed was that during the Dec runs, I’ve used the workout app to track, however on Jan’s 1st run, I used the strava record app to track during the run. Can help assist me?

My new xiaomi revolve active smartwatch is not synchronised data with strava application any body have solution?  

Help! I disabled my connected between my Whoop and Strava because whoop was creating a duplicate post from my strava activity. Even though disabled as a strava integration, whoop is still pushing to my strava activity timeline. Has anyone else had this problem or figured out how to trouble shoot it?Thanks! 

Help please : I have just purchased a new iphone,  I added all the Apps etc inc Strava and now cant open the Strava as my email is no longer available ! So cant add a new e-mail as it asks for password etc. Devastated at the moment. My old phone still has the data etc etc on the old phone app. If anyone could help I would be v grateful  Peter T

I have an issue, and I dont know if it is the right place to discuss it.  - All my activities from Samsung health are syncing to Strava as RUN. It could be Swimming, walking etc., still going to Starava as RUN.  Is anyone having the same problem? And who to report to? 

I've just changed to using a Garmin 255 (previously had a Coros Pace 2 and before that a Garmin 920) and now my track workouts (saved as a Workout on Strava) are showing very odd times (way too short) for rest periods between reps. It seems like it's now using moving time rather than elapsed? It has been working fine for the Coros & Garmin 920, both correctly showing the full rest periods on Strava. In Garmin Connect the activities recorded on the 920 & 255 both look fine with the correct rest being reflected, but when transferred to Strava the 255 data is being changed, whereas the 920 data isn't? I uninstalled my app because I had no sound when using it. Unfortunately, I can't reinstall it from google play store. Someone can help ?

I noticed after doing an interval workout from the fitness app on my apple watch that the intervals do not appear on Strava like it would with Garmin. Is this expected? 

If i record on the Huawei Health app it syncs right away. The Band 7 doesnt sync. Could it be that Band 7 doesnt record GPS? The Band 7 doesnt support the Strava app so it syncs to Huawei Health on my smartphone and then to Strava. I just got it today.

I noticed today that my Zwift indoor ride on a standard bike was marked as "e-MTB ride". I tried to change the activity type to a regular ride which I did and saved it, but after checking to see if it kept that change, I found it didn't. I did buy an e-MTB bike a few months ago, but I went and looked at my Zwift activities and I now find that *all* of my Zwift rides are e-MTB rides, even ones that were entered before I even owned an e-MTB. I found that Strava says you can't change a virtual ride type after it has been recorded, but I can't even figure out how it defaulted to an e-MTB in the first place. I looked at my profiles in both Zwift and Strava and can't find this setting to fix it going forward.

Hi, I now have 2 x Garmin devices (1040 and a Fenix) but every ride I have ever done is all tracked via Strava on my iPhone. The 1040 also tracks the rides within Garmin connect separately, but they stay in Garmin world. I can see that I can link Garmin Connect and Strava together, however, it says it will sync the last 90 days of activities, but the last 90 days of activities are already on Strava, so will it double up on all the activities, or do I need to not use Strava for 90 days to make a clean switch to the Garmin devices as activity trackers? If I have to stop using Strava for 90 days, can I get 90 days added to my yearly paid subscription?   Thanks!

Not having much luck...From the watch, I select "Sign in on phone" Opens "Authorize Strava for Wear OS" - I click AUTHORIZE Goes to "Allow this app to keep you signed in on your watch? Click ALLOW and nothing happens, totally dead link (com.google.android.wear.companion . . . . . . ) Too Soon? What am I missing?

Ok, it looks like there aren't any posts specifically on this topic, so I don't feel too bad about starting one. However, if there is one or you feel that this isn't the place for this discussion, please feel free to yell at me.So, long story short, I'm looking to upgrade my watch and get a dedicated running watch. Dedicated is definitely the operative word, there. I have been using a Galaxy Watch 3 for quite a while now and, while it is serviceable, it just doesn't do the things I want it to do.I know that Garmin is the #1. I know that it's #1 for a reason, too. It seems to offer the best... well... everything, especially if you don't worry too much about price. However, something is really, really attractive about Coros. I can't put my finger on why I want one, but... First ride using the Strava app on my Apple Watch Ultra. Everything looks good with the exception there is no calorie burn shown in post ride data. Any ideas what I've not configured correctly?  Thanks,Wynn

I have a Huawei GT3 watch which I use to track my cycling activities. This goes into the Huawei Health app. I then use an app called Health Sync to transfer these activities into Strava. I do not track activities with the Strava app.This works as expected, tracking duration, distance, speed, heart rate and route in Strava.What fails is then syncing these activities to Google Fit using Stravas built in integration. For activities to show up in Fit I need to open each activity in Strava, use the "edit" feature and then save the activity again (don't even need to make any change).
