Happy New Year, All.  As far back as 12/21/25, I identified all of my recent outdoor rides (with a power meter) are reporting in Strava (app & web) as 146w--identical on all of them.  My wahoo computer/Xert/TrainingPeaks/Wahoo app, etc. all report the same figures as the wahoo computer.Does anyone else have this issue? Does anyone know how to resolve it?Thanks!

I know this topic has been discussed before but why on earth you won’t allow your own links?! I am trying to publish a post on Strava Tax in the club that I run, sharing your own article. Your system even removes that! You can easily add a link safety check and not blindly block all links, including your own. Clearly, a strava.com URL should be safe. Usually when running I use my watch and it works without fault but today i did a 5km run using my watch, it didnt register on the app tho. Now I lost progress with my back to base challenge. Anybody know how to help

Every time I reply to a discussion with an image, I get a message stating a moderator must approve. My replies never get approved. Anyone else have this same issue? I'm simply posting screenshots of the Strava app to share information and help others.

In many groups, I came to notice some posts that seem to be AI generated from new user accounts. They look inofensive, but I don’t get the point of them and there seem to be no category to report them. They’re not spam, not dangerous, not harassment, not hateful, not misleading, selling nothing, etc.. Since they have no activities (or sometimes a tiny one), they’re not building social capital, selling coaching, farming kudos. So I wonder if bots aren’t slowly infiltrating the system and stay quiet for a while or testing behaviour of Strava users?Example of post:“””Where the road leads, good company follows 🚴‍♀️I’ve always loved cycling not just for the views or the movement, but for the people it brings along the way.Good rides, good conversations, shared effort… that’s my kind of connection.If you enjoy being on two wheels, we’ll probably get along just fine.“”” 

Hello,I have been updating my activities (changing the activity type from “Ride” to “Mountain Bike Ride”), but when I click Save, Strava does not update the activity.  I would estimate that this happens in 1/3 of the updates.After I change an activity I have to verify that the change was made.  Sometimes I have to edit an activity multiple times for the change to be saved.I have been having this issue for a long time (a year or more) so it is not related to the recent AWS outage.This issue occurs on both the app and web. Has anyone else had this problem?  Has anyone reported it to Strava?  Am I doing something wrong?

Presently, rowing with EXR is force to 'virtual rowing', while rowing with ErgData is going under 'rowing' without option to change it to virtual rowing (not selectable). So my rowing, on the same machine, is under to different type of activity. It's a bit annoying. Can I suggest to force ErgData activity to be set to virtual rowing automatically, since it is virtual anyway. Thx.

The upcoming 2026 “January Walk 100k Steps Challenge” appears to have replaced the old monthly “Walk 50 km Challenge”. If I understand correctly, the new walk challenge will be based on steps rather than being based on distance. I would assume that means anyone who uses a GPS device without step measuring capability will no longer have a monthly walk challenge.  

I have a paid student subscription running to April 2026.  When I log in, it is showing me as unsubscribed, so can’t access the paid features. I have tried creating strata support tickets, but they keep getting closed as Solved almost instantly.  There appears to be no other way to contact Strava so I am stuck.Any ideas how I can get someone at Strava to investigate?

Hi, I was going through my challenges and I misread “redeem” and accidentally left the ride 200k challenge for December. I can’t rejoin as the period is over and I have now lost my trophy for this. Is there any way to get this back? Cycling is my main sport and I’ve been trying so hard to keep up the ride 200k a month streak and now i’ve ruined it with my fat fingers and a phone.

Hello my friends, I hope you can help me solve my problem in the application, which is related to my followers. Every now and then, the application automatically cancels my follow-ups, and I am always forced to re-follow my friends again.  Hello dear community,unfortunately, after my walks, no step count is displayed in the activity feed, only the altitude. Is there somewhere I can set this? I record my walks and other activities with a Garmin Forerunner 265.Thank you for your help!

I used to look forward to the year in review, but it seemed really pointless this year. Nothing about PRs or things about improving over last year. It said I had 4 KOMs which is nice but who cares about local legends? What about top 10s? I think that's a huge one when there could be several hundred people on a segment. I just was expecting a much better review.

Our running club is not showing any of our runs this week within the leaderboard. Nothing has been changed since last week, and all activities are showing in the feed. I managed to sync mine, by hiding the time on the entry and it has shown as 1/1 member which is incorrect as there are 8 members.is this a problem, or can anyone help? 

On the leaderboard the “today” stat is missing. I love that stat so I can see how my friends did on that segment. Is it gone for good? 

Just got this notification, which should be disabled based on my settings. I’m paying for Strava, I don’t want spammy engagement hacking.   

Hi,  I don't have a subscription, but the goal has always counted my weekly miles until today. Every week the counter resets to 0 automatically.I changed nothing and my two activitied were uploaded from Zwift to Strava as always, but the distance counter is still 0.I contacted Strava, but they only sent a few links that might help (not).Tips?

Hi allI am aware what users can change units (metric/imperial) in Strava settings, however, this then applies to all activities.  Is it possible to select different units by sport. extra, I want to show metres for swimming and miles for cycling.
