Hi, I'm unable to access the 'My API Application' section on my Strava account, and I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what's going on. **Issue:**The 'My API Application' entry is completely missing from my account settings menu. When I try to access the URL directly (strava.com/settings/api), I get an error page saying 'An error has occurred' instead of the API application form. **Steps I've already tried:**- Navigating directly to strava.com/settings/api while logged in- Trying on multiple desktop browsers (not mobile)- Testing in private/incognito browsing mode to rule out cache or extension issues- Trying across different browser brands None of these resolved the issue. The error appears consistently regardless of the browser orsession used. Has anyone experienced this or know what might be causing it? Any help would be appreciated.Thank you!

Hello all,I had working My API Application and used it for integration with google sheets. Today i wanted to change the scope of access using some guidelines and it stopped to work any more. When I go to My API Application it shows “Something went wrong” so I cant edit it or create new. Any help?

I deveoped an app that is using Strava API I wanted to change to domain as it went on production on Vercel but it keeps on dislpaying “unpexpected error, try later” when I click on it to view my app stats and modify the domain.

Each athlete authorizes via OAuth and we import their activities for training load analytics. Processing is asynchronous (webhook → job queue → worker) with throttling and backoff to respect Strava rate limits.Request: Please increase the connected athletes quota to at least 200 for this beta (100 users + buffer). If additional information is required (callback domain, privacy policy URL, etc.), please let us know.Thank you.

Tried multiple browsers, refreshed cookies and cache, and the api application is always erroring out. Won’t load anything.

When navigating to the “My API Application” or settings/api page on the Strava web app I receive an error that I cannot bypass. I’ve verified this happens on multiple different browsers (arc, zen, chrome) as well as for multiple different strava accounts I have. I am unable to view/edit my App settings and thus cannot successfully oauth my test users into the app. Pls help!

I have a working app that uses the Strava API, which I built over a year ago without any issues and it still works fine.This morning, when I went to strava.com/settings/api to view My API Application, I noticedan authorization error even though I’m fully logged into my Strava account.Specifically, the GetAthleteApplications query returns: {"errors":[{"message":"Access by the application is prohibited."}]}Has anyone encountered this issue before, or could you point me to a better place to ask about it?Thank you!

Hello!I’ve seen that in Strava profile I can see my stats for my major sports - for me Run, Hike, Walk and Yoga as can seen there: But when I call API for Athlete Stats, I can only get Run, Bike and Swim - no mention of other sports. I’ve seen that I can get list of all acitivities for used by API - set after param in query to 1.1.{currentYear}, filter relevant sport type and them cumulate distance and elevation but I think this approach is overkill (download 300+ activities in December just to get elevation gain for hiking in this year...). Hi there!Is there a way to access who I ran with in the API? I went on a run and the official Strava app nicely shows that I did run with my friend indeed, but I can’t seem to find this data anywhere on the API unfortunately.I’m working on a little app that just creates fun visualisation for the runs based on the details. And I thought it would be much more fun and social if I could include my friends into the visualisation when I run with them. Thanks,Dani

Hello,I recently received an email confirming that my application was approved for the Strava Developer Program with the following limits: Overall Rate Limit: 600 requests every 15 minutes (6,000 per day) Read Rate Limit: 300 requests every 15 minutes (3,000 per day) Athlete Capacity: 999 However, in my API settings dashboard, my application still appears to be limited to only 1 authorized athlete, and a second Strava account cannot authorize the app through OAuth.It seems like the application might still be in Single Player Mode despite the approval email.What can i do so ?Kr Thomas

I have a website where I am embedding Strava segments (not routes) at the bottom. However, when I view it on the webpage, the Global settings show KMs. If you export a route, you have the choice to choose the type of units. Hello community,I’m developing RunningCup, a mobile app for tracking running activities and challenges, where users can optionally import their own activities from Strava.Recently, Strava rejected our API access request, citing privacy concerns:“You must always respect Strava users and their privacy choices. This includes not sharing a Strava user’s data with other users or third parties. Strava Data related to other users, even if such data is publicly viewable on the Strava Platform, may not be displayed or disclosed.”In RunningCup: Users can only import their own activities from Strava. Global leagues and rankings in the app are based on activities from all RunningCup users, including those imported from Strava. We do not display data from other Strava users, and Strava data is not shared with third parties.
