How is Hyperlink removal creates "Safety for all user experiences" ??Sound nothing more then a CHAT GPT generated statement.. When all  other social networks welcome people’s interaction and communication Strava stripped EVERYHTING! Youtube, Spotify, Relive, Trailforks, invitations to they own Strava Clubs etc, etc..Whoever made that descision - You antagonized HUNDREDS of paying users who wont be continuing their subscription!

Format of Distance and Time in Excel Export

It seems that after my Export of my Data to Excel, I am getting a huge number for Time (seconds?) and what may be the distance in kilometers (see below).How do I get the Elapsed Time field in hours:minutes:seconds so I can tally and format in Excel?How do I set the DIstance to be in Miles (not what appears to be kilometers) such as 6.75 Miles? Mi fitness app transfer activites to Strava account

Hello,I have a problem syncing my fitness app with a third party Strava account. Everything is enabled and connected to each other but the activity is never transferred in the Strava app. Does anyone have the same experience or a solution?

Import from Apple breaks altitude information

Hi there,when tracking my rides with Apple Watch, the data recorded is a plausible and consistent match with other resources, e.g. komoot pre ride track planning.Importing the recorded track however, has a strange impact especially on altitude information. A track with 300 meters of altitude difference (Apple, komoot, paper map) e.g. easily gets imported as 600+ meters in Strava. This gives a wrong information for the training status and kind of nags on my credibility with those who joined me for the ride 😉 😉Why doesn‘t Strava simply take the well recorded data from Apple, but applies some additional magic during import, that actually goes so significantly wrong?thanks a lot!Thomas

Anyone know anything about the I-elite power meter.

I  haven’t been able to find any real info that isn’t from the company to describe the user experience. Has anyone used this power meter? is it work just hunting on FB market place for a stress based power meter?

I seem to be missing all my friends runs from a race this morning in my feed.  If I search individual name I can see it, but feed is missing days.  Have un-installed and reinstalled, and restarted phone...not helping.

Zepp sync to Strava didn’t include step count

Hi, I’m using Amazfit Active Edge for recording my workout activity and sync it via Zepp to Strava. The problem is that by each time of sync, the step count data is not being synced. Currently I solved it by uploading the exported data from Zepp, but is there something I can do, for it to be able to be synced on the go along with another statistics?

New route builder is broken

It seems Strava has switched the route builder to a new version.  I believe they have been testing this for awhile, as I've seen it here and there, but it seems over the last few days they've moved over to using it when you click the Create New Route button on the My Routes page.There's some major problems when it comes to creating and editing waypoints, specifically around how it handles when you have an existing route but want to add a waypoint in the middle.  In the old system you could move your mouse along the line, and then click and drag the line to move it.  It'd intelligently add a waypoint in between existing ones.  But in the new system this rarely works properly.  I've seen some real strange things just playing with it, including invisible points in the middle of nowhere -- if you move the mouse along the elevation chart at the bottom, it'll float between these without actually following the line.   It's incredibly frustrating.  I hop

The removal of URLs/links – questions I expect Strava to answer

I'm sorry but the "solution" that was posted in the other thread about this issue is not a solution. A solution would be something that brings our activities, posts, comments, etc to the exact same state they were before you removed the URLs.You didn't even answer the big open questions we have regarding what happened. I would like Strava to urgently answer the following questions:(1) Are you filtering URLs merely in the user interface and in the API – or have you actually modified the content stored in your database?(2) If it is the latter case, how are we going to recover our data? What kind of backups do you have? Are you going to restore all the URLs and other removed content from the backups once this "ongoing situation" is over? Can we at least download an intact version of our data for our own use?(3) Why there was zero communication about what is going to happen beforehand? It's clear now that you removed the URLs on purpose. The removal wouldn't have been okay even if you gave

Live Segments failing and CONSOLIDATED SEGMENT

Hi All,I have been a paying member to Strava for many years. Over this time I have used numerous Garmin devices to record and upload rides. So I can usually figure out issues with the help of forums and YouTube videos.The last few years I have been using “Live Segments” on a trail I've ridden for probably close to a decade. Initially I was having issues with the live segment ending prematurely so I created my own segment for a lap of the trail. This solved the issue but recently I noticed I was having the same issue once more, initially I put it down to bad GPS data on that ride as the tracking wasn't great. I few rides later it still hadn't improved.It was only by chance that I noticed my starred segment had been renamed with "CONSOLIDATED SEGMENT" at the start. I could no longer find it in the segment list even under hidden segments. A different segment had been starred and synced to my Garmin device which looked almost the same but fails to track with the trail. This looks like the

Club stats not showing all activity

Hi, a couple of my runs are not showing in my club stats but are showing in my overall weekly stats for last week. I know which ones that aren’t showing and my settings on them are no different to before (as far as I can see) Visibility is not hidden from clubs. Any idea how I get it to sync back up? I have logged out of both app and website versions

Tagged Runs

So my friend cannot currently take her phone on a run so she asked me to tag her when we run together.  When uploaded her run starts are always slightly different, it’s not much but I just don’t understand why?And it is slightly annoying that Strava records her as running slightly further and slightly faster when she’s tagged on my run!Any thoughts?

Hi,I need a refund please. I'm from Brazil, and there is none Strava support here. They dont respond my tickets, emails. On app, web, nothing.They made a mistake, I made an 30 free days trial. My gripes with Strava Maps

Let me start by saying thank you for Strava Maps and all features which comes with it. I want to list down a few issues I always face with this feature:1. When I try to access "my saved routes" on my phone, it is a multi-step process i.e. go to my profile (you)  -> Then on my icon (on top right) -> Click on "Routes" -> Click on the route I saved. When I am on a new trail (very often there's weak cell phone connection) and to load these four different pages is extremely frustrating. -- Surely there can be an easier way to access this feature.2. Please please save the preference in Map Settings i.e. whether or not I want to see gloabal heatmap / My Heatmap / Point of Interest.3. When Map is accessed via phone app, it shows random routes suggestion by default, again please save preference, so I don't have to do this multi-step process or opening a map then selecting maps only - every time.  - All the above 3 points are especially frustrating when you are in a new trail

Download map from Strava onto Phone

I'd like to download a large area onto my phone with my heatmaps so I can access this from the trail when I have no service.  I can do this on Trailforks but it does not show my "private" routes. Is there a way to download the  Strava map locally to my phone and still have access to trails/routes that I recorded when I open the app and not "in service"?  Again, the trails that I want to access on the map would be private not public.Thanks in advance

Missing words in description of activity

From every sentence where I used an emoticon, it disappeared. And the word before the emoticon disappeared as well. Does anyone have the same problem? It never happened to me.Aldo some other activities from my friends have the same problem.

Changes to Strava Group Challenges

Hello Community Members,  We want to update you on an upcoming change to the Group Challenge feature. Currently, Group Challenges can be created by subscribers and athletes with a free trial subscription. All other athletes will get three free challenges to create or join a group challenge. Once a free challenge has been used, it can not be reclaimed by deleting or leaving the challenge. You can find out more about Group Challenges here.  What you need to know: Starting in August 2024, only Strava subscribers or users with a free trial will be able to create and/or join a group challenge.What if a challenge was created before the change? Existing challenges and challenges created before the update will remain active until their finish date. If a user joins a challenge before this update, they will still be able to participate, and the challenge will continue until the end date.If you have any additional questions or feedback regarding this update, please let us know. New UI when import from Garmin

Has someone else experienced a new UI when importing an exercise from Garmin devices, via Garmin connect? Or when I want to edit an exercise?To me it's a total mess now. I can't find the info I want to change. And the keyboard doesn't appear as it used to when I want to edit the text. I have to click around and pretend to edit other fields to get the keyboard visible. It feels like I have to click ten times more now than before.Please revert!
