Hi, My Fitbit Versa 4 is no longer syncing automatically to Strava after runs. All permissions are on and linked, been like it since start of Jan 2025. The GPS function is also on the watch too. So annoying, was thinking of taking out a subscription too, not gonna happen now! 😂

I’ve had this issue. I’ve tried disconnecting the device and reconnecting but that hasn’t worked. Have you managed to get yours to work?

Same problem here.

Is there any solution from Strava or fitbit?

I have this problem too since this week on my versa 4. My gps only works when connected to my phone it doesn't connect without. Since this , it won't sync with strava so I think it's the fitbit itself.  Very annoying

Hello @Kentlad25 , @AlexGE , @Inec and @JamieP1105 - sorry to hear that you are experiencing trouble syncing your activity over to Strava. Fitbit syncing issues are unfortunately something we do not have visibility into. Fitbit actually pushes activities to Strava and if there is an activity on Strava that's not on Fitbit, Fitbit pulls the activity from us.

Fitbit normally recommends the following in troubleshooting syncing issues:

  1. Try reconnecting your accounts, syncing your Fitbit tracker, and waiting an hour.
  2. Confirm that you are not recording a duplicate exercise in the Strava app and Fitbit app/device simultaneously.
  3. Confirm that you are recording a GPS exercise if using Fitbit (only exercises with GPS on Fitbit will be sent to Strava).
  4. Confirm that you recorded a new exercise after connecting your accounts (previous exercises won’t be uploaded). Athletes can use the TCX export from the Fitbit app to upload older exercises manually.

Seems like you have done some of the steps already. Please ensure that you are not recording duplicate activities (in other words, not recording an additional activity using the Strava app) and the activity you are recording on Fitbit contains GPS. We are not experiencing any outages at this time.

If you are still not seeing your activity, I would suggest manually exporting and importing your activity directly onto Strava in the meantime. Please use the TCX export from the Fitbit app to download a copy of your activity and upload it to your Strava account. If you do not see "Export as a TCX file" this would imply that your activity did not record GPS data which is needed to process over to Strava. In that case, please reach out to Fitbit for further information.

Hope this helps!
