After a run, I used to be able to hit the "Share To" button & select "Save to Photos" on my iPhone or iPad. Today it doesn't even give me that option. It just says Copy, New Quick Note, Save to Files or Save to Pinterest. How to I save my activity map to my photos again?

It's there, though quite hidden - click the sharing icon, then (bottom left) Share To, then (bottom right) More, scroll down to the list of actions and tap Save Image.
+4Must admit it’s not something I’ve looked at before - I usually do a screenshot on the iPad, then crop to suit whatever I’m going to use it for - hadn’t realised there had been a way of saving it in the past!

Hi! Since latest update of iOS app (I suppose) this is only working for cycling-activities, not any longer for walk, hike or ski. For others than cycling you can only share a link as text file nowadays.

It's still there, but yes, it's yet less intuitive than it was (sigh).
Just tried it with a Walk activity:
- Open the activity in the mobile app
- Scroll a bit down, where you see the kudos (thumbs up), comments (chat bubble) and the sharing icon
- Tap the sharing icon
- Swipe through all photos till you get to the map
- Then below the map, again find the sharing icon (likely in the bottom right corner) with the label “More”, and tap it
- Tap “Save image"
It's quite cumbersome but should work.
