Strava is displaying a far more slower average speed than it actually is. On a 5km 32 minutes run it shows an average speed of 6.2 km/hr. This should be 9.4 km/hr

I know understand the speed is not displayed as km/hr but minutes/km.

The problem with avg. speed calculation on Strava.com has been discussed manytimes. But Strava IT-men  evidenetly ignore the community and the demands. The calculated value on Strava is worthless.
If I mak a ride with 1 hour at avg. speed 35km/h, 2 hours pause and again 1 hour at avg. speed 35km/h, then Garmin will calculate the correct avg speed 35km/h. Strava in contrary will calculate the svg. speed 17,5km/h.
Please, STOP IGNORING YOUR SUBSCRIBERS! Make the simple step and correct the formula. It makes no sense to calculate the avg. speed using elapsed time instead of using moving time. I still keep my subscription. But I am slowly loosing my interest to support Strava if Strava shows no interest or will to make logical and necessary correction. I consider this approach as very disrespectful, ignorant and unprofessional.
