“Segments” page used to feature route map. It’s gone.

The Segments page in the app and on the site formerly featured my route map above the column of segments. 
This was extremely useful. It allowed me to see exactly where each segment was located within the route. 
The map is now gone. No reason given. 
Why would you kill this essential bit of your UI?

Why are you degrading useful functionality?

When I click on the activity map in the IOS app the segment list is still there below the map and each segment can be selected to view its part of the activity. The same goes for the web app. Nothing has changed for me.
