Hi, Strava map query here: as of lately, when I click on the map recorded by Wahoo/Strava, all I get is my 'naked' route, ie just the outlines of my route but no background map at all to click on and enlarge, so no option to home in on the 'real' map to go over where I've been. Yikes. Am I going wrong somewhere, or is this Strava's naff idea of an update?!?

Hi ​@Bea, any chance you're on android and using app protection on through duckduckgo? There are several recent posts mentioning that this is causing maps to be blank.

 

 

 

​@Jana_S Oh my god... thank you so much. My flyovers were no longer working for ages now and it was today I realized the regular ones now also blank. You just fixed both for me. I am so happy as support had no clue when I submitted a ticket back when.

In my case, it was Blokada preventing the map displaying, white listing Strava solved the problem. Didn’t solve the problem of the black screen when starting a recording when not connected to the internet, though.
