That would be great! Along with heart rate, calories burned, V grades, French grades, and the indoor/outdoor setting. Strava could also consider some of the following metrics and features:
1. Duration and Total Time Active: How long the climbing session lasts, including active climbing time versus rest periods. 2. Route/Problem Logs: Ability to log each individual problem or route attempted or completed during the session. 3. Technique or Style Notes: Options to note the type of grips used (e.g., crimps, slopers, pinches) and the style of climbing (e.g., dynamic, technical). 4. Gear Tracking: Log which shoes, chalk, and other gear were used, which can help with gear performance tracking over time. 5. Climbing Conditions: Track weather conditions for outdoor climbs. 6. Injury Tracking: Option to note any injuries sustained during climbing, which can help in understanding patterns or frequent climbing-related injuries. 7. Photo Uploads
Hello. We wanted to let you know that your idea submission from February of 2023 will be archived. While this idea is interesting, we don’t have any immediate plans to implement this and currently aren’t able to prioritize this idea.
