Hey Strava, thank you for creating this community.

There's so many athletes that also perform martial arts it'd be nice to be able to track those activities as part of Strava. From Kung Fu, Jujitsu, Taekwondo, Karate, MMA to Tai Chi and Qi Gong, there's so many sub types that could also be added under the type of sports (like what you did with Run - Race, Long Run, Workout).

It'd be real nice!

Can we please add this ASAP? I train 3x+ a week and I’d love this to show up as something other than “aerobics, general” in my calorie tracker. Thanks!

100% agree.  Rolling, and sparing is a lot like running intervals, if not harder.

This needs more focus! I just sparred and rolled last night and Strava categorized it as “workout” and it gets sent to my calorie tracker as “aerobics/general”. I feel like I got a really aggressive Zumba session logged.
come on Strava! Help us martial artists out!

Maybe we start posting our workouts here to show we use it?

Acabei de cadastrar a minha conta no Strava, mas também senti falta das artes marciais. Eu treino kickboxing e deixo aqui uma idéia para incluirem no app.

I agree, i do Judo, and always record it in " workout " but it would be really nice having even a general " martial arts " sports type!
