Hey,

Strava has always traditionally been focused on Cyclists, but more and more features are coming out for additional sports. I would like Strava to better support Multi sport, in both activities and athletes stats/data.

I would love to see is being able to unify/upload multiple activities that were related to each other e.g. a Triathlon. The user experience is always quite clunky, and its hard to view as a single effort/activity when looking at past activities.

Ideally this would be a single activity with different sections per sport and includes transition period.

This would greatly improve the experience to both the user and their followers. For example the user will be able to differentiate between a 10k run and a 10k run they did at the end of a triathlon. It gives much more context into the athletes effort and doesn't treat single sport activities the same as multi sport

It will benefit their followers as it will reduce the amount of activities displayed on the feed (e.g. if they do lots of swim/run/swim/run/swim/run training).

Look forward to hearing from you

Great ideas! I, as a triathlete, really look forward to seeing Strava taking this suggestion seriously and making changes.

How do we "up vote" this and make it a reality?

Tired of seeing and editing 50 different activities after a simple triathlon training or event (currently includes even a 10 second transition time as a separate and distinct activity)!

This also applies not only from a du/triathlete perspective, but many users who do multisport strength and cardio training such as Barry's Bootcamp. It starts to discourage users from even posting because it just takes so long to edit and maintain accuracy.

PLEASE FIX!!! ❤️

Amazed that the Olympic sport triathlon is not been added yet, al lot of us are doing some sort of multisport and then you would expect that this would have been added by now...... come Strava make this happen!

This is a great idea, as Strava is such a useful tool, especially for connecting with friends and community. It just looks a bit silly when your walk/swim/walk is broken up into smaller bits as there is no context for each individual item.

Please please Strava consider adding support for multisports activities.

In favor of adding Triatlon as a single activity!

As a PM it is shocking to have over 150 comments and 500 likes, likely most people premium/paid customers, and to ignore a relatively simple feature request amongst many others, what is the product team doing at Strava? This has been open for over 2 years...

You have 1000's of the customers who compete in triathlon and they can not upload their races to strava despite being able to upload their training sessions...

Upvoted. Getting this to completion is an excellent chance for Rob Terrell to showcase his leadership capabilities.  😁

Really disappointed to see that years later this great idea still hasn’t been implemented. It annoys me to no end spamming my feed with entirely new activities just because I’ve done a cycle and then a swim, or a run into a row etc when those activities were in the same workout, I should be able to link them to show that.

When training for a triathlon, the fundamental stat I want to monitor is my total hours across the three disciplines over time.

Currently you can only choose ‘All Sports’ / ‘All Run’ / ‘All Ride’ which is okay for seeing your mileage trend for something like a marathon block, but I can’t see a meaningful multi-sport trend as the ‘All Sports’ includes Strength, Walking etc.

I’d like to be able to select my total hours for swim / bike / run in:

  • The ‘Progress’ tab - for trend analysis.
  • My profile - so others checking in on my training can see triathlon is my current focus.

if Garmin Connect can do it, Strava shouldn't have a problem figuring this out

This is a very nice idea. I’ve been following it for the past two years and no improvments or news yet. Can someone from Strava comment?

I’d likely get my pro membership back of that feature gets implemented.

Please give us some news!
