In the past few months, the challenge level of many of the challenges has dropped. While this is good in that it allows newer Strava athletes to attain reasonable goals, there are many of us who are seeking more and would like to have badges or achievements to work toward.

My suggestion is to create levels for each challenge, maybe labled bronze, silver, and gold, to allow for further pushing. For example, the monthly run distance badge could have 100km as the bronze goal, 200km as the silver goal, and 300km as the gold. Walking could have 30km, 50km, and 100km, and so on.

This would allow for all levels of athletes to achieve a monthly challenge goal that challenges them as an individual instead of having just one goal set for us all. (I know that there is a goal setting feature, but that is a paid feature and in the name of equity, I believe that both subscribers and free Strava users deserve to be able to set a goal in some way.)
