Not sure if at all possible, but often I wonder what songs, podcast etc people are listening to whilst completing their activity.

Would be great to be able to share your Apple Music / Spotify / podcast track that you listened to during your run / ride etc.  I think that'd be interesting...

Hey @Wattnissen, we went and built exactly what you're looking for!

On the settings page, you can turn on "Write entire track list" and it will show all the tracks artists and names directly in the description. https://www.spava.club/settings

Let us know what you think either here or reach out at the bottom of the Spava page.

Yes please! Or at least be able to select a particular song to attach to the activity's media

I've been using the new feature for some days now, and love it! Thanks!

It seems there's a cutoff on the tracklist, if it's deemed too long, and it shows only the last tracks. I had a 4+ hour ride on last Wed, and played songs throughout, but both on the activity and on the Spava site only the last 47 seconds are listed, indicating a start at 2 hours 17 minutes.
It was the same with per.fm which cut it off at 50 tracks, and it also listed the last played tracks.
Is there a technical reason for this, or can I have all the played songs in the Strava activity description? If no, I'd at least love to have a line that says "These are X of the tracks played during the activity"

If I could ask for yet another settings feature, I'd love to be able to turn off the timestamp on the tracks (with many tracks in the Strava description, the timestamps makes the list a little messy).
The possibility to list them tracks in a numbered list. would also be nice.

Having used this for a couple of weeks, I have a couple of feature requests I’d like to see.
1: I have a number of local tracks that are not in the Spotify catalog, but which I play using the Spotify local file feature. I know there’s no way you can have links on spava.club with a possibility to listen to those tracks on Spotify, but I’d love to have them listed in the description of my activity.

2: It seems that podcasts played in Strava don’t appear either. Is it possible to make it an option to include the podcasts episodes played too?

Thanks for a great service!

Could there be a link to fx Spotify, where users could set the "Soundtrack" of their activity?
That one song (or podcast) that felt like the theme song of the Run/Ride.

Similar to how you can add music to instagram posts, Strava could have the ability to add songs to an activity post. Maybe for strava premium?

I understand the feature now supports Spotify, but how about Youtube Music users like me??

Agreed. Surprised they don’t have this feature yet.

The ability to play a song in the background of your Strava activity post (similar to overlaying a song in the background of an instagram post). Creates even more of an experience when viewing posts and better encapsulates your activity. Not much more to add here. Shouldn't be too much of a lift for the developer team and would be an awesome addition.

Would be cool to add the song that was stuck in your head (or song that embodies the vibe/ experience of the activity) during the run/ workout like how Instagram has with a carousel. Could be that the song is linked/ followable to Spotify or Apple music.

For my fellow music lovers whose workouts and runs aren’t complete without a good playlist to keep you motivated: we should have the option to share which song kept us going for that workout on Strava! It could be either a free text section that you can fill out once your workout posts, or a search field that links to Spotify/Apple Music and would redirect users to that song in their preferred streaming app once they click on it.

I love sharing my workouts with friends, and since music is such an integral part of each workout, it’d be fun if Strava had the option for users to share their SOTW!

It would be fascinating to know what music or podcasts people listen to during their activities, like running or cycling. Sharing the tracks or episodes from Apple Music, Spotify, or other platforms could offer a unique glimpse into others' experiences and preferences. It might even inspire us to discover new favorites or enhance our own workouts with fresh playlists. Imagine a community where people regularly exchange their go-to tunes or podcasts, creating a shared sense of motivation and connection. This simple act of sharing could add a new layer of engagement and enjoyment to our activities.
