Club events should include other activity types, in addition to running or biking

Enable #Club Events to be classified as more than Ride or Run events. I have created a #Club (iSwim4) where the #Sport is "Swimming". When I attempt to Add A Club Event; the mandatory field, "Event Type" only contains Run or Ride data elements.

I believe the #Event Type field should contain all or many of the values that exist in the Club Sport, in my case Swimming but in other cases, Rock Climbing, Snowboarding, Sailing, etc.

By not having this ability, it limits recruiting Strava athletes to join us in pool or open water swim events since the key field descriptors do not align with our #Club (Swimming) - again, it forces us to select Run or Ride and use a description filed to explain that we are really looking to have swimming as the event!

When made possible, it should also include 'routes' and segments for all type of activities

It is an essential feature for multi-sport Clubs to be successful and popular. Missing sports types is my main obstacle when I shift from Facebook to Strava when organizing community events. However, I don't see the challenge of implementing it - it is just another option in the list. Nothing more is required.

We have a Stand Up Paddle Board Club and it looks funny when we are biking in the Gulf of Mexico... lol it would be great if we could could add all activity types that you can make clubs for. Hopefully this is escalated. Thanks in advance!

Why is this not already a feature? It should be a given that clubs can organize events based on any event type currently trackable as an activity.

When posting an event, Strava only gives the option for a 'Ride' or a 'Run'. As a club we also have a number of social or speaker events every year and we need to post Social Events. This would not need a Route or Terrain or Level which would be irrelevant to a Social event.
