Hello everyone,

Here is my suggestion:
For a month I have been using a DI2 and my Wahoo captures all the gear changes I make during my ride.
The Elemnt Android app collects all the data and sends it to Strava.
I can therefore analyze my route, my HR, my data from my power sensor and the speed sensor on Strava, but Strava does not recover the data from DI2, although it is present on Elemnt.

When we are on the route analysis option of Strava, as the mouse moves, we have the altitude, the % of the climb, the HR, the speed, the distance, it is no longer missing as the gear indication. It would be great to compare the same climb on several outings with different gears...

Thank you for confirming to give me your opinions.
If they collect a certain number of pros, is it complicated to upgrade this option for Strava.

Mark

Merci de me confirmer de me donner vos avis.

Marc

Thanks for submitting your idea. It has been reviewed by our moderation team and is now open to voting.

The idea title was edited so it will be easier for others to search and vote on. I also made the title generic so it could include e-shifting from other manufacturers also.

Thank you for your contribution.

I would suggest to maybe also include gearing data for users without electronic shifting.
If one would set up correct casette sprockets, chainrings and rear wheelsize, then, from speed and cadence data one could actually calculate which gear is selected (more or less)
Also , statistics on which sprockets has endured more time/more distance/more work (time x power)  would be awesome

an histogram showing the Di2 usage during the ride would be awesome

Two days ago I got my new bike with a electronic gear shifting. It is from SRAM but the question is the same. I would love to see the shifting information in STRAVA as well like it is in the SRAM app. There you see a histogram of which gear is used for how long or for how many kilometers/miles.

Thanks @marc_m54 for bringing this up!

Adding my vote to request support for displaying Di2 shifter data in Strava.

You have my vote since about a year, but maybe we can push this topic into visibility?

Electronic shifting is becoming more and more popular, so it would be nice to see the data on Strava.
