A cycling time goal for how much time was spent gaining elevation would be cool. I know that I can just do an elevation gain goal, but I don't know. I guess my brain just likes time!
Thanks for submitting your idea on displaying cumulative climbing time. It has been reviewed by our moderation team and is now open to voting. May I ask where you perhaps envision this statistic to be included?
I haven't really thought about it. For me personally I was thinking as an additional cycling goal metric. At least right now, if I set off in the direction of the mountains, the main purpose of that ride is to climb! I know that isn't the case for everyone.
I'm not sure that it is incredibly relevant information to have displayed on the actual Activity page. Because you could be riding a totally flat route and then it might just be kind of sad. Maybe it would be fun to see on the "All time" statistics page?
Hello. We wanted to let you know that your idea submission from December will be archived. While this idea is interesting, we don’t have any immediate plans to implement this and currently aren’t able to prioritize this idea.
Please note that your feedback is valuable to Strava. As stated in our Community Idea Guidelines, we receive many idea submissions each week, and realistically, there may be various reasons that prevent us from including an idea on our Product Roadmap.
We want to thank you for taking the time to submit your idea and we look forward to your continued contributions to the Strava Community.
