Find users who you rode with to follow

When I'm riding and I join up with other cyclists who I don't know but enjoyed riding with, it would be nice if Strava had a feature along the lines of 'you rode with so and so for 3 miles today, would you like to follow their Strava profile?' 

Obviously for privacy it would have to be an opt in feature - but it could help users discover new local riders to increase the social aspect of Strava.

@andrewisawesome - There is one way, although Strava mostly ruined it years ago.  If you use the "flyby" option, you can see who else was in the vicinity of you during your activity.  Unfortunately, a few years back, Strava decided to unilaterally disable this for everyone without telling them so most people thought it was removed and didn't know they had to go in a toggle it back on in their security settings.  Some have figured it out.  You can turn yours on and maybe you will get lucky and those others you rode with will have theirs enabled.
