I think it will be great if Strava adds Workout Suggestion based on an athlete's experience level, past activity, and goals.

What is it?

Workout Suggestion is an AI supported feature for Strava that uses data about the athlete to suggest the next activity.

Why is this important?

Personalize the workouts based on the athlete's history, goals, what they want to do and how they feel.

How does it work?

The athletes need to initially share their primary sport, experience level, goals, and next race. They can plug this into the main screen. Each day an athlete goes to Workout Suggestion they answer a few questions: what type of workout they want (easy, hard, long, intervals, recovery), where they want to run (streets, track, trails), and why the AI is suggesting this feature (what's the benefit). The feature suggests three workouts and locations in real-time that the athlete can save on their phone and use it again in the future. The athlete can select and save whichever workouts they like or use them in the future.

Almost all athletes have a GPS device to follow our training. I would like to be able to create training sessions in Strava with their watts, heart rate or intensity zones, and have them
directly synchronized in my device so I could follow that workout without having to memorize it. This would make my workouts easier. In the end the idea would be to develop a workout builder.

Thx in advance

You could get a free account in TrainingPeaks and use their workout builder. With the free account you can build a workout only for the current day, but that's usually sufficient.

Imagine seeing your daily running training plan right before hitting 'record' on Strava. With real-time integration, it's easy to target your workout goals. No more email checks or app switches - just hit record and get a helpful audio cue about your scheduled plan.

So my ‘cool idea’ is that Strava should expand their training plans to cater for beginners. As a sport player (Netballer) long distances are not my thing. Trying to increase my base/distance and the plans in Strava start with times i cannot currently achieve.

would also be great if this could be accessed on the App and not have to log into the web
