What if there was a second version of the Local Legend feature, one that, over the same span of 90 days, compiled the 5 or 10 lowest times posted to complete the segment? That would produce a sort of "lowest average time", across multiple efforts on the segment, for this version of the Local Legend.
Currently Local Legend is only a tally of the most attempts in the last 90 days on a segment.
There might be a cyclist that does a segment 4-5 times a week, yet they are not going for it. It is their favorite route or a commute. So they ride it a lot and have the Local Legend. That is cool. No worries there. As it should be.
Yet a Local Legend with a time component would be really cool to see for climbing segments, where the effort on the attempt is also calculated, adding another element to the pursuit of challenging ourselves.
I don't think Strava should replace the current Local Legend version. More so add a second version that takes time/effort into consideration in some way.
Thanks for your consideration.
