Make a button to close event for better event categorization?

Club event show upcoming date all the time. Is it possible to make a button to close event for better event categorization?

@Soren Hi, Sorry that my comment is unclear, I mean is it possible to keep every event even after it is closed? Such as having a close or open button.

I think each event is valuable and memorable for all STRAVA lovers.

@ultawtong I'm sorry I still don't understand what you're proposing. Would you like for certain events to be indefinitely ongoing and only marked as "ended/closed" when the event organizer decides? Can you please describe a situation in which this functionality is needed and why it's important?
