It's really simple, actually, as the title says.

When you navigate to an activity from somewhere else than your personal feed (from a segment performance list, from search, from...), it's very hard to navigate to the adjacent activity. The computer could easily do it, but we can't.

Occasions where this would be desirable include a wide range of things, from formal triathlons, where the different sports are usually tracked as separate activities, to state races, to epic bikepacking trips, to something as mundane as morning/evening for those weirdos who insist on tracking their commutes, separately.

I'm sure that specific use cases like triathlons or vacations have been feature ideas before, but a general previous/next would solve them just fine, without any detection troubles)

Thumbs up from me. How about something like this for the app. Small arrows on each side of the title. It's intuitive and minimalist. (I'm not as concerned with how its implemented on the web version, because there's more room on the web)

Greetings.

Suppose that I am viewing one of my own activities (e.g., https://www.strava.com/activities/8244028847) and I wish to view the previous (https://www.strava.com/activities/8243105895) or the next (https://www.strava.com/activities/8247284032) activity. As a subscribed user, currently I need to visit the Training Log page and then click the previous/next activity.

It'd be great if there was a "Previous" (except in case of the very first activity) and "Next" (except in case of the most recent activity) links were made available for each activity. I am sure other members (subscription or not) would appreciate the ease of navigation that comes with it.

My best,

Gowtham (G)

I would also LOVE to have this feature!  People are more and more often doing multi-day trips, and I often like to "catch up" on their activities.  It would be very nice to see a "next activity by this user" option on both the website as well as on the app.  Right now, navigating to the user's next sequential activity is quite tedious with having to go back and forth to their profile.  I like Eric's suggestion above for how to display the next/previous on the app. For the website, maybe as shown in this screen shot (image not as elegant as Eric's but you get the idea)...Screen Shot 2023-06-06 at 1.19.00 PM.png

I was going to start this thread, but I looked first and found it was already here, which is great. What's not so great is that Strava still doesn't have this feature and it makes browsing through activities very complicated!

I really appreciate Eric's solution suggestion 👍

I am attaching photos to show how other sports applications have handled it.
