This has been something that has frustrated me for so long, so I thought I might as well ask about it. When I'm cycling and using strava to follow a route, I find that the default level of zoom on the map is way too close - I want to see a lot more of what my route will be up to down the road, rather than having to glance at my screen every 50-or-so metres to make sure I'm not missing a turn. Okay, so I just zoom out a bit.
But then whenever Strava auto-pauses, say, at a junction or a traffic light or whatever, it automatically zooms me back into the default, way-too-close scale, as well as turning on centring again, even if I don't want that.
I've searched a lot, but I cannot find a way to stop auto-pausing resetting the level or zoom or centring. Is there any way to do this? I use Strava so much and this would be such a massive quality-of-life improvement.
