Routing - Follow Segment

A feature that is currently not available in Strava, Komoot or other route planners is the following of segments.

There are many segments that are not directly on a road and it is very cumbersome to manually "follow" them.
With a "Follow Segment" feature, you would definitely have a huge selling point for your community, as no one else offers this yet.

This "no one else" isn't correct, as i.e. Garmin devices offers routing along Strava live segments. But of course it would be nice to have that in the Strava app too.

Do you mean showing directions or a path of the segment as you're moving during an activity recording, live segment, or route? Or do you mean something entirely different? Please elaborate and include more details.

Hello @Soren,

When I am planning a route using the Strava route planner, I am able to see all segments within a currently shown area.

When I click on a segment, I want it to be added automatically to my currently planned route.

When I click on the segment, I want it to be added to my route, so that it is being followed.
