Show gear in activity list, or list activities for gear

Sometimes I forget to update my gear correctly and its non-trivial to check.
Preferred option: show gear on activity list
Alternate option: list activities for gear
* in the web ui you I'm pretty certain you used to be able to click Edit to change Gear, but now its disappeared off into other options.

Your alternate option is available in the web ui in Training/"My activities", select sport, then select gear.

Changing the gear in the web ui works as before:

Correct, as @Jan_Mantau has pointed out you can select Ride or Run and then the gear will populate in a drop down menu, allowing you to filter your activities by gear.

The website is not mobile friendly, though. So we have to remember to jump on a laptop or desktop now when you already have filters for rides?
