Seeing the new features rolled out is great, but there's still work to be done matching functionality between app and website.  Ideally, if it's important enough to exist in one, it should also be in the other.  Examples:

1. Adding Gear: Given that STRAVA now has so many activity categories, it would be nice to add gear other than shoes and bikes; I log roughly 20 miles per week on a Concept2 rower, and would like to aggregate that data in the app/website.

2. Segment creation/searching/exploring:  Searching is clunky on the app, but very intuitive on the website, and creation of segments is only available through the website.

3. Course Creation/searching/exploring: Similar to Segments, creation is somewhat cumbersome on the app to the point where folks just don't use it; I make it a point to only create routes on the website for the sake of my own sanity.  In dire straits, I actually prefer the CityStrides route builder over that of either STRAVA or Garmin Connect apps.

4. FlyBy:  This was once an awesome function, albeit only really viewable from the website, and since STRAVA changed their privacy policies making the user default as 'opted out', it's essentially unused.  Also, FlyBy isn't widely advertised as a feature, and not obvious to app users that it even exists.

5. Muting Activities:  An activity can only be muted through the app, and not the website.
DELIVERED: Enable Muted activities on web

6. Managing Goals:  Currently only Running, Cycling, and Swimming distance goals can be viewed/managed through the website, but other activities like Rowing can be viewed/managed through the app.

7. Choosing Favorite Athletes/Activity Alerts:  Designation of specific friends/athletes as "favorites" and opting into notifications of their activities is only available through the app.

8. Although not available on either the website or the app, the ability to simply edit your comment on someone's activity would be very helpful, and seems like pretty low-hanging fruit.

Hey Strava developers! I appreciate that it is now possible to manage shoes in the app. But there is an issue shown in the screenshot below. For the shoes that have a nickname, only nicknames are shown in the list, which makes it hard to tell which is which. Historically, on the web nickname is always shown at the end of shoe brand and model - that's why nicknames I give to shoes are usually their colors or their numbers (if I have more than one pair of shoe of the same model). Can we please make this consistent between the app and the web version?

Just adding my +1 for this. It would be really nice to have running power graph on desktop alongside the other metrics.

This would be much appreciated! Any status update? I find it annoying to have to login to web app to see all 3 indicators (Form/Fatigue/Fitness)

This would be a great addition to the app 👍👍👍

Agree, this would be helpful to view direct in the app. Fitness alone is not the full picture, including fatigue and form are needed for complete context, otherwise the fitness number means little. Thanks for considering this app addition Strava Team.

I have set several goals via the App that I would like to complete weekly, monthly or annually. Goals for walking and cycling.

When I look at the website, my goals for walking are not visible. Only goals for cycling, running and swimming are visible here.
When determining the weekly or monthly distance I want to walk or cycle, a little calculation is not difficult to find out how many kilometers I am ahead or behind schedule.
This is the case with my annual walking and cycling goal.

When I look at the App, I can clearly see how many kilometers I am ahead or behind schedule to achieve my annual walking goal.
However, if I want to know this for my annual cycling goal, I have to look at the website while I would also like to see this in the App.

Why is this shown in the App for walking and not for cycling? And why are the walking goals not visible on the web?

Both an idea for the App and for the website to add this.

This is also true for me. It would be very nice if I could see all my goals in the app AND on the web. I use the web most of the time to manage my Strava stuff. In this state, you can only see half the truth there, or only a portion of current goals. (Hiking, walking and so on are just missing on the web).

I disagree with a decision of merging a bunch of issues including mine into this thread. I reported a specific issue with the app and now it gets generalized as inconsistency between the app and the website. That makes this overall issue overly broad and generic, and in my experience those never get fixed. It is like trying to boil an ocean.

I completely agree! Having the indicators for fatigue and form directly in the app would be very useful. It's hard to get a comprehensive understanding with just the fitness alone. Adding these features would make the app more complete. I hope the Strava team will consider this suggestion!

I agree that the website and mobile experiences should be more consistent.

I just took out a free trial of Strava Premium but didn't feel like I got enough out of the mobile experience on its own to justify spending £55 a month on it. There are a few additional features on the website that would sweeten the pill if I could access them via the mobile app (e.g. being able to directly compare my own stats with those of another user in a "side-by-side" format and being able to create my own segments) but I'm not paying that kind of money for a "premium" experience that requires me to constantly switch back and forth between two different platforms to get my money's worth.

For cycling you have a Best Effort power curve, so you can see over X amount of time you could hold Y number of Watts, and compare YoY or last 6 weeks etc. I'd like to see a similar feature for running, but the Y Axis is distance and the X Axis is pace, so you could see how your pace changes with distance

I would really like to see this feature. This would be useful for interval work or to see how your fitness is looking, since this feature is already used so much in cycling i would see lots of use cases in running. This could also use gradient adjusted pace.

All goals should be visible while using the desktop version of Strava.  Also, we should be able to create and edit ANY goals allowed by Strava via the website app.  Currently, this functionality is only available for the mobile app.   Right now, you can only see a single distance goal for only a couple types of activities on the desktop version.

Please merge this idea with another related topic.
I attend spin bike classes and record these as indoor rides via my Apple Watch for heart rate.  But I cannot add the reported distance and climb that the spin bike reports to the recorded ride.
We need a feature that allows distance and elevation to be added to an activity that has not recorded those values from GPS.  It would make it similar to a manual activity but with a recorded heart rate.

@j1mreeves, couldn't agree more.
