Hi,

This brilliant feature, the ability to mute activities, is missing from desktop (I believe its been in mobile for a year or two now).

Would love to have it on the website as well - I use it to reduce clutter on people's feeds, for example my inane commutes of which there can be several daily. Also for some content I think people wouldn't appreciate or expect on a fitness platform but that I still want specific people to be able to see.

I don't know how you vote, but yes, please add this to the web platform. I don't use the app. Also allow mute activities by default as a profile / privacy option.

In the app there's the option to hide an activity from the start page and club feeds. Why is this not available on the website? I have numerous Zwift and commute rides that I don't want published on the home feed but that I would like to see counted towards my totals and leader boards. Also, this option should be added to my other feature request to edit activities in bulk.

Hey! Any update on this topic? In my opinion feature parity between mobile app and website is a must

I'm a bit surprised this issue has been outstanding for so long. Yes, this is a pretty important feature to maintain parity between the web and mobile app. It continues to frustrate me that some things are available on mobile only while others are exclusive to web. If a capability is released, shouldn't it be released to both web and mobile at the same time? Anyway, would love to see this updated soon. Thank you!

Even better would be an option to default-mute activities uploaded from Garmin or whatever. I want to track my commute rides, but don't want to spam everyone twice a day.

@Mark4 setting activities to private by default is a feature that is already available on Strava. It's under Settings -> Privacy Controls. You can't set custom privacy rules for different activity sources, but I find it easy enough to turn rides I want to publish public.
