Hi Strava

Here's how to make more money for your company.....offer a tiered subscription!

I genuinely want to pay you money for the lovely product you've made but the free subscription does 99% of what I want. The one thing I do miss having is route planning.

Is it worth paying $99 a year for that one feature? No, its not. Would I pay you say $25 a year, absolutely.

I'm not an elite athlete and don't use power meters, etc, so all the other features in a paid subscription are things I'm just not going to use.  It's your choice. Get no money whatsoever from customers like me or find some middle ground and help us to pay you something for your hard work.

Strava actually had this pricing from 2018 to 2020. Three separate al la carte "packages" were offered... a training pack, a safety pack, and an analysis pack. Cost in the US was $23.99 a year for each. Beacon was in the safety pack, if you wanted to use a heart rate monitor you had to have the analysis pack.
They eliminated it in 2020, here's their email: "We’ve found that breaking out our offering into 3 separate packs (Analysis, Training, and Safety) has created some confusion as our feature functionality no longer cleanly fits into those 3 packs. As such, we’ve decided to consolidate our subscription into 1, and removing the 3 packs."

Your idea has been shared with the product team. Right now, we aren't exploring the possibility of adding/implementing this feature, and your suggestion will be archived.  Please understand that we  receive a very high volume of feature requests, and only those that align with our current focus can be considered.  Thank you for taking the time to submit your idea and we look forward to your continued engagement in the Community Hub

I recently cancelled my subscription after many years mainly because it has become quite expensive here in Australia and I only use twenty percent of the features of Strava. Why don't you have a few pricing tiers  so people can decide how much of Strava they want to use and just pay for that?
