I don't know if Strava is just trying to be really supportive, but I live in a relatively flat area (between the mountains anyway), and I have received numerous notifications from Strava congratulating me for climbing 2m on my commute to work. 

Perhaps the bar could be raised a little, I don't need kudos for that.
