The GPS track in that image is all over the place, even going into the river at times. It's almost certainly an issue with GPS.

+28It could be that you have really bad GPS signal for some reason. Is the device being carried somewhere that might block the GPS signal? Some devices have different settings that impact what type of GPS signal they can utilize.
