Hello everyone!

So the topic for today is Bikejoring people on bike ride/mtb/gravel rides.

What is bikejoring? It’s a device that you plug into your bike and connect to a running dog. Its like e-bike but the helping engine is simply a dog.

examples:

https://www.strava.com/activities/888186160#21658067064

Point is, there is no such activity in strava yet people doing it are stealing KOM’s and places in ladder which is simply not fair. Its not a personal rant for the person i gave examples on but i think we need to talk about it to prevent mixing sports and abnormal amount of flagging.

Looking for solution of this situation.

I didn't know such a thing existed.  It looks like animal abuse to me, but that's beside the point.  I would just go ahead and flag those rides.  The relevant Strava help article on the topic says: "The flag tool is available to users to identify bad GPS data or data from non-human-powered and non-conventional bicycles. If you notice another athlete's activities should not be on leaderboards, please use the Activity Flag tool to remove the activity."

Is this happening a lot where you live?

Point is i did so many reports that at this point i decided to make a post about it and highlight the problem. People doing this “sport” seems to dont care about regular riders. What can i do more to maybe help with resolving this issue, i can provide list of over 100 profiles doing that regulary. If I did sit more on that that number could triple or quadruple in one week. Its so common.
