Hi folks

can someone explain what the “shadowed graphs” are behind the heart line on the heart rate workout charts?

Hi ​@Davidalt, if I understand correctly what you're describing, it's the profile/elevation - so that you can easily see which parts were uphill and which were downhill, as a useful context for varying heart rate.
