How do I get active calories from Garmin Connect when syncing rides to Strava?  I’m getting total calories from GC which is active plus basal calories.   Other apps report/use active calories, not total. I did some searching having found this being resolved.  Has it been?

@Jana_S correct! However, we don’t have a separate field on activities or elsewhere that differentiates “active calories” from “calories.” Ultimately what is surfaced as “calories” depends on the upload partner and how they’ve instrumented.

Hi @Saddlesaur, Strava doesn’t use active calories. Strava shows Calories as they were provided to us by upload partners.

@Emily_A actually, it probably depends on the integration settings on your side. For example AW (native Workout app) activities include data for both total & active calories, and Strava correctly uses the active calories in the import. So it sounds like some discrepancy across device types integration..?

OK.  This is syncing data with Garmin, which has resting, active and total calories for an activity.  How do I get Strava to sync active calories instead of total?  I’m pretty sure this is what everybody wants, and what is the norm in most all apps.
