If it wasn't for my GF, I wouldn't know - I get trophies, I see the trophies in my activity, however the achievements are showing differently in her feed. See here, my last two activities: 
And this is how she sees the acitivities:
I refreshed the acitivity achievements but no help. What am I missing here?

That can be due to differences which segments are hidden. Maybe you have unhidden the segments where you got the trophies or she has hidden them, that leads to different achievement summaries.
