Strava Routing on new roads

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

Hi there, looking for help on how to update maps in Strava. I live in a town that has a new bypass, the road was opened 2 months ago. The road shows on the map, but you cannot route using the road, it's like the routing tools dont "see" this new road, and constantly route around it. How do you report / update maps to include this new 3km of roads? I know you can set manual mode and place multiple points and do it that way, but the road is quite curved and can be tricky to get accuracy.

You can read about how Strava updates it's map and how you can contribute here: https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216917717-About-Strava-Maps

Thanks, I followed those steps before and the road has been set to allow bicycles and should be mappable, but its been like that for 6 weeks on OSM and its still not routable in Strava, surely the ingestion cycle is quicker than that?

This is still not fixed, it's now been well over 10 weeks and still this road is not routable, despite everything being in place on OSM, is there any indication how long this ingest process takes?
