I just got flagged on a 6 mile ride that I've done 74 times with consistent results.  The flag does not give any indication of what the actual issue is. It says crop the ride, change the activity, etc. The flag is wrong but there is no way to remove it. Is there a better app than Strava?

We're all hoping for a better app, but the flag can be fixed.

Actually you should get a message indicating the reason.  On the phone app it looks like: "This activity is flagged as miscategorized.  We can't put you on any leaderboards for now, tap to change type and resolve."  On the web activity page it says: "It looks like your activity may have been saved as the wrong type."  On the web it at least gives several options for fixing the issue.  Under "other options" drop down menu, just select "this activity is fine, trust me".  That will zap the flag.

The "other options" only has four choices -- crop, change, split, delete. No other choice.

In that case, you can change it to a different activity type, then just change it back.  Annoying to have to do that, but it should work to fix the problem in this case.  I would look closely at the activity file just to make sure there isn’t some anomaly in it that is triggering the flag.  It could be a bad data point at one end or the other that can be easily fixed.

Are you on the phone or the website?  On the iphone... bring up the activity.  On the upper right (near the battery icon) there are three dots... tap!  Nine options come up... tap on "remove this flag."    On the web, when you click other options... change activity, make private, split, delete, this activity is fine trust me.  Click that last one!

That was the key. I had to change it twice. Walk, save. Mountain bike, save. Then Ride, save. Doing it once Walk save Ride save didn’t do it. But three times? Wow. I wish I got paid to program like that. Thanks.
