Hi Strava Community,

We want to share an important update with you. Starting February 4, the Strava Community Hub will evolve from a support-focused forum into a dedicated space for our growing developer community. This will create a more focused home for API-centered discussion and collaboration,

Since launch, the Hub has been a place where athletes come together to help each other uplevel their Strava experience by asking questions, sharing ideas, and simply connecting. We’re grateful for everything you’ve contributed here - from troubleshooting tips to feature requests to thoughtful conversations that have helped shape the Strava and the Hub experience. Thank you for the time, care, and expertise you’ve brought to this space.

What’s next:

  • Between now and February 4, the Hub will remain available in “maintenance mode.” This includes key areas such as Known Issues threads and Ideas triage.
  • The Developers area of the Hub will remain available past this date. The Hub will be transitioning into a developer-focused space that will host communications and resources for our developer community.
  • Existing technical conversations and questions will move to a view-only state and remain searchable within the forum. The Ideas space will be retired and archived, with all submissions recorded and organized for internal reference.
  • For athletes, conversations and connections will continue in:

Thank you for being part of the Hub and for helping it grow into a valuable space over the years. We’re excited to continue building community with you in the places where you’re most active today.

FAQ

What happens to Hub content?

Conversations and questions outside of the Developers space will remain fully accessible for comments until February 4. After February 4, this content will be archived into a subcategory and made view-only.

We’re also reviewing ways to surface the most helpful content, such as Known Issues threads and “How it Works” guides. Feature suggestions will be logged internally.

Will these forums go away completely?

Areas supporting the Strava Developer Community will continue to operate beyond February 4. Other parts of the Hub will be archived on that date; previously authored conversations and questions will be viewable.

How can I share a new feature or improvement suggestion with Strava going forward?

New feature suggestions can be submitted through this form. Submissions will be tracked by our team.

Note: For feature suggestions, select “Feature Requests.” You must be logged in to access the form.

How can I share feedback with Strava going forward?

You can continue to share your thoughts through Clubs and social channels. We’ll keep listening and incorporating your feedback as we continue to improve Strava.

What about the Known Issues threads?

Known issues and technical bugs are also tracked internally. We are exploring ways to have a similar log in other support-related spaces.
