It’s such a simple feature to provide; let us filter the types of activity we see on our Feeds from followed users. Seems this idea was posted 2 years ago and the option still isn’t there. Do not care to see someone has sat in their shed for an hour on their Wattbike, but I am still interested in seeing their actual rides. Come on Strava.

Please add day (Mo-Thu-Wed...) to the datepicker

Imagine that you could select an interval of a given activity like this An then, for the given interval, the metrics/stats of the interval would be calculated on the fly and presented to the user as the ones presented for the whole activity. I believe it has really potential depending on the use cases

I’ve been recording my workouts on Strava for a while now, and for the last couple days, Strava has been in some sort of time warp and has been counting my time really slowly. Just this morning, I took a 50 minute class, and when I returned to my phone to stop the Strava timer, it had only been going for 18 minutes. This happened a couple other times this week. My phone is in a locker, as it always is in these type of workouts, so there’s nothing to pause it. The app is as updated as can be, and so is my phone. Nothing has changed! Has this happened to anyone here? What should I do?

When I create a segment, I don't understand why the segment in the opposite direction appears as a segment similarity. It has nothing to do with it, I think it doesn't contribute and it causes the list of suggestions similar to the segment to be very long.

Hi, I am trying to get a sense of what's going on with an old friend who I am estranged from.  Their strava profile is set to private but a search shows numbers of activities cycling / runs unchanged for the last six months. Does this definitely mean they no longer using strava. I guess I am a little worried  as thewy have had health issues before and unsure if numbers always update.

Hello,As I have found on help topic only GPS based activities can be cropped if you forget to push finish. Unfortunately I often forget to finish my weight training activity. What I finally realize it I have only discard it or accept my fail and save 3-5 hours workout.I hope me is not only one person suffering from that. I wondering is there any workaround or methods how to set limit for such activity duration or smth ?Any ideas are welcome.Thanks in advance.Giedrius

It should be possible to compare segment efforts by equipment. It should be possible to know the best time on a particular segment for a particular bike.For example if a user has two bikes, a mountain bike and a road bike, it should be possible to know the best time of the segment for the mountain bike and the best time for the road bike. It should be possible to know if the the user broke the record of mountain bike when uploads a ride with the mountain bike. The same for the road bike.

Hello Strava team and users,Strava being a fitness based app is used extensively in the military. Not exclusively, as many many others use it too but for the military it’s a great tool to help track and motivate our soldiers.As some of you may know, we walk many miles carrying weight. It goes by many names I.e., tabbing, yomping, rucking and many more. However, it’s very simple and I’m sure many other people outside of the military do it too. I believe this should be a workout feature we should have access too. Not only is the distance, pace, cadence etc etc tracked but the amount of weight carried should be inputted into the data, this will greatly change the amount of calories burned. But it’ll be such a useful tool for both military training and civilian. Hope the idea takes off, C.

I only use Strava for running. I don’t want to sync any other type of workout to Strava. This means I am not able to auto-sync activities from Apple Health into Strava.I would like if Strava allowed us to enable auto-sync for only specific types of activities. Runs should be automatically synced. One could still custom import any activity, but only Runs for example would be auto-synced.

When I get kudos the notification indicator in the iOS app tells me I've got 3 kudos, but when I go into notifications there will be just the one. Likewise when it says I've got 5 kudos, there may only be 2. Anyone else getting this issue?

Hi there, I wanted to suggest including pack weight or ruck weight for hiking [and one day if someone developed a rucking activity, there too], as hiking with say 30kg, is very different to hiking with a bottle of water and a phone. I’d also imagine that Strava has the capability of calculating all sorts of useful stats around calories burnt etc with regards to body weight combined with pack weight.

I’m currently doing Virtual Rides in MyWhoosh but I have a ZwiftHub. My heartrate device doesn’t connect to the Zwift Hub and doesn’t appear in MyWhoosh. So I have to record it as a separate activity. What this ends up doing is doubling the time I’m spending and possibly making my fitness and fatigue far higher than what they should be. So just an option to “ignore effort from this activity”. Same for other attributes such as time so I don’t accumulate double the time. Or have an ability to link the separate activites so that Strava understands they are the same.

Strava browser web view is archaic and hasn’t changed in 10 years or more!Does Strava have any plans to update this view and make it match the more modern Android app data display? How do I make heart data always display in web view? Mousing over the graph below the map in webview is the only way to obtain certain data, such as the current BPM or the starting/ending minimum heights.  However, the resolution is poor, with a spacing between data points of about 15 seconds.  This is unacceptable. 4. When mousing in webview, it is difficult to control the mouse in small increments.  Should be able to use the cursor keys to move left/right in 1 second increments. Splits should show average and max BPM, if available. Webview shows the moving time and pace but not the average speed. “Elevation” should be changed to “elevation gained”, otherwise people might confuse the number with max elevation.

Hi there! I have a JustGiving fundraising page and I’ve connected my Strava app, but it does not show on my page. It says “paused” then it says to “manage Strava settings”, so I do so, and select the activities I want to show and then each time it “failed to save settings”. I’ve even tried to disconnect and reconnect Strava but nothing helps.  any help is appreciated as I’m training for a half marathon and would love for my Strava to be connected!
