Dont know if this will open a can of worms - 1)I do all my activity with Apple Watch and it's pretty good for reading my HR and effort. My latest fave sport is off road e-mountain biking - I have a Bosch engined bike which displays my HR on my apple watch via the Bosch FLOW app, and at the end of the exercise automatically uploads my data to Strava including power, cadence speed etc but no HR which is fair enough as FLOW has saved this to apple health. At the same time Apple health will record an activity which it automatically recognizes as an e-bike activity and records all my parameters INCLUDING HR. I think it is triggered to do this by the flow app sending my HR data to my watch. When I then look at the Strava workout, it has automatically recorded my ride, but hasn't uploaded the HR data DESPITE having permission to do so in my Strava iPhone and watch settings. In my haste to get a run tracked on the Apple app, I accidentally started a weightlifting session instead. When I finished the run I saved the activity without realising it wasn’t classed as a run. I’ve got as far as Exporting the Original but this has only tracked the duration and no other data points. Is there any way to retrieve any of the run data or have I lost the run data forever? (I wouldn’t usually mind, but this was the last section of a long race after my watch died and I’d hate to lose the info). 

I have not been able to access my month-old account. I was uploading some .fit files today and logged me out and I haven’t been able to log back in. It shows the following message on the app and on the PC it just says “please try again later”. I’m not sure what to do...password reset didn’t work and support seems to be taking longer to respond. Thanks for any help.

Every post I try to make in groups or on my personal profile (I'm selling my bike) gets the error: "Sorry, this is still in red.The page you're looking for doesn't exist, but you still have some options."I don't know what to do. I've tried using lower resolution images, reducing the text, and avoiding putting my personal number in the ad, but none of that solves my problem.Before this error occurred, I was able to post in 3 groups, but then the error started to appear.

Hello! I went for a morning run today and my watch recorded the activity via the Strava app on my watch but it never synced to my Strava app on my phone. Under the Strava settings on my watch it says that there are no activities that haven't been synced yet. It looks like I completely lost the activity. Is there a way to restore it please so I can attempt to sync it to my phone app?

HiI just want to know why all my Zwift indoor racers are not listed on all best efforts under ride. It is only showing outdoor cycling information. Most of my best efforts are coming from Zwift.Can there not be a droping down bar for indoor rides.Please helpThank you

Today’s outdoor run (race event) did not upload to strava. Hey,It's been more  than a week since I submitted a support request and still no response.

A bit of a bizarre one. When adding a manual treadmill run I put the title as follows "60 mins @ 17.0kph." When saving the run it will only show "60 mins @".  If I keep editing the run to add the speed back in it won't show when saved. However if I edit it to show "60 mins @ 17.0kph" (note without the full stop at the end) then it will save fine. The same happens whatever the speed entered, it seems like Strava doesn't like full stops!Obviously it doesn't bother me, just a peculiarity with the software that seems a little strange!

Many of the leaderboards for segments in urban areas (especially those next to highways) are riddled with blatant vehicle travel "rides". In nearly every case, a rider neglects to stop recording their ride when they get in the car to drive home. The result, in the case of most segments following major roadways, is the top 30 leaderboard spots boasting outrageously inhuman times--i.e. 72 mph on a flat road for 10 minutes, etc. I suggest that a flagging algorithm should be setup in the Strava software that automatically removes certain rides from the leaderboard under strict parameters. For example, on a flat/uphill road, it is physically impossible to ride a bicycle, electric or otherwise, faster than 70 mph, for any length of time, barring outrageously extreme circumstances. To prevent vehicle travel from clogging up an upsetting proportion of urban segment leaderboards, Strava could auto-flag those rides which exceed human-effort plausibility, such as the parameter desc

I came back from a swim this morning where I recorded a RE of 26. My friend carried out the same swim -- roughly the same pace -- with a *much* lower heart rate (127 bpm vs my 149 bpm), and spending LESS time in higher-intensity heartrate zones … and recorded a RE of 65.Any ideas why this discrepancy?May as well add that over time (have used Strava for about 8 years now), relative effort scores seem to have decreased considerably for me -- runs from when I had recently joined tended to received much higher RE scores compared to runs I do now, even when controlling for HR and HR zones.Curious if anyone has encountered similar issues

I am trying to expect my indoor Kettler Racer S data to Strava.  I can expect to CSV but I cannot import the CSV data into Garmin or Strava  Obviously Garmin syncs with Strava  The aim is to see all the data into the Strava App any ideas  Regards.  

Could Strava please make the abillity to filter activities shown on feed.  As a cyclist, im only interested in seeing outdoor bike rides.  Not interested in indoor cycling, walks, hikes, yoga, skiing etc and my feed in full of lame feeds.

My power curve shows my max 20min power at about 264w. I'm 65kg and reckon my FTP is 255w at the most. So why does Strava estimate it as 274W? There is no way I could ever sustain 274w for an hour.  

For example, when I add a pair of shoes with the brand Nike and model Vaporfly 3, Strava incorrectly formats it as VaporFly 3, capitalizing the 'f'. This is incorrect; you won't see such writing on Nike's official website or anywhere that mentions this shoe.What's even more amazing is that when I name the model Vaporfly 3 Premium, it doesn't get formatted. But if it's named Vaporfly 3 Volt, it gets incorrectly formatted as VaporFly 3 Volt again. This forces me to name it Vaporfly 3 DV4129-700 (which doesn't get formatted).There are many other similar issues too.

When I added my new Saucony Endorphine Speed 3 to my list of shoes, Strava makes the s lower case. I have tried numerous different tricks to get it to make that letter upper case as it should be, but it always winds up going back to lower case! For example, I tried renaming the shoe Endorphine PSpeed 3. That stays upper case. But when I remove the P the s goes to lower case. When I added a second space before Speed, then it worked. This does not happen with any of my other shoes. It seems as if Strava has a list of shoe names that it tries to match and the Endorphine Speed 3 is typed with a lower case 's' in that list. The double space didn't match anything so it kept my spelling. If this is the case, that is a feature that should be removed. Just use what I type in.

As I am getting older I change my cycling style and speed and last year I bought an endurance bike after my race bike. Obvious my speed on segments is lower now and I get a kind of frustrated that despite a good result my 2013-2017 results when I was really racing are always in my top results. Would it be possible to link segment result also to your bike - it would not affect those going for KOM but it would give me more satisfaction.

My cycling crew and I recently all bought the Garmin 1050 for our mountain biking adventures.  3 of us so far have tried syncing it with Strava to display live segments, and none of us are able to get this working for some reason. I understand there is some sort of “no downhill” policy, but we can’t even get the climbs to work, even after trying to re-create new climb segments to test.  Is there something we are missing?  Neither the “E-Bike” or “E-Mountain” categories seem to work.  Even trying to sync some local road only segments, out of maybe 30 segments, I was only able to get 2 starred segments to show.  So we know its “working”, but there has to be something we’re missing.

Goodnight.I have Strava installed on my Galaxy Watch 6. I use the Weight Training activity, however, every time the activity reaches 10:00, the activity ends automatically, and ends up not saving the record.Note: The smartwatch is up to date.I've factory reset it several times,I've reinstalled it several times, but the problem persists. Do you know what it could be?Thanks

Details - new IPhone 16 Pro. I do not recall this issue on my previous IPhone...When recording stairclimber activity the clock stops when the screen is locked. I did a bunch of tests and it seems to happen after about 60 seconds, but may pick up after a few minutes for another minute. It’s an indoor activity so it doesn’t (shouldn’t) need GPS. It seems very random. For example, I started the activity and climbed for 15 minutes with my phone in my pocket (on screen lock) and it registered 6 minutes. I have background refresh ON in App settings. App is up to date as far as I can tell: v395.0.0 (r46412)Is there some other setting I’m missing?Thanks in advance,Karl  

I can’t see my rides on the Web (Chrome) for the past few weeks on the personal heatmap, but can see them on the app (Apple 14).

I use a Garmin 1030 to record my rides and they automatically upload to Strava (IOS app).No power meter used so Watts are calculated by Strava algorithm.since recent SW upgrades (both Garmin and Strava, don’t know which is causing problem) power figures are hugely over-reading. Example freewheeling down a long 8% hill power is shown as 158w if I then use ‘adjust elevation’ feature in app the power drops to 6w and total elevation for ride only changes by 8ft on total of around 880ft.Strava iOS app SW rev is ? How do you read this?phone Sw rev 18.1.1Garmin connect rev 5.8.1.3Problem is consistent now for all rides, power always corrects itself when. ‘Adjust elevation’ is used.Any ideas what’s wrong? - Alan 

Hello Recently my Zwift activities are no longer displayed on Strava.Everything still works fine with Garmin Connect, but the activities are no longer displayed on Strava what can I do?
