 I’ve been a paid subscriber for many years and the appom my iPhone 16 promax just started to show only average yesterday. Is there a setting that changed?GPS works fine, but the app just started to say the GPS is intermittent today. Mapmyride works fine (I always have MapMyRide running in the background and have for years because Strava has failed a few times over the years and luckily I had Mapmyride running to save the stats (MMR has NEVER failed me)Is there now some kind of adjustment for the app to show live speed? (Bicycle)I’m going to erase and reinstall and try it. Will report if any difference Thanks

I‘ve tracked more than 500 rides with my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt and synced them on Strava. I noticed that some activities I tracked long time ago are not displayed anymore in the Strava activity section. I did not delete them. Whereas all rides are still counted in the personal statistics, the number of total kilometers is incorrect. ~4000 km are missing. My aim is to restore the complete track record.I could add rides summing up 4000 km manually in order to correct total kilometers, however the problem is not the number of rides (which is correct) but the missing kilometers.  Does anyone have an idea what causes this issue and knows how it can be resolved?

There seems to be a bug with the weekly log whilst tracking strength exercises, when completing a strength exercise, it doesn't count towards weekly log.Although it shows a dot on the graph which is accurate, "current" still shows as 0, and "to go" still shows 2. Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place, I'm new here lolThanks

Hi Strava team,I was reading through the info on developers.strava.com/docs/uploads about how devices are detected from FIT files using the manufacturer and product fields.I'm working on a small project where I compare GPS performance between different devices — for example, two watches worn during the same race — to analyze things like drift and accuracy. I’m generating FIT files from that data, which include the manufacturer and product ID fields as specified in the FIT format.I’d like Strava to show the correct device name when those files are uploaded, if possible.Just wondering: Is there a list somewhere of which manufacturer and product ID pairs in FIT files are recognized by Strava and mapped to device names? My relative efforts shoes the bar charts with all my activities but underneath in the details it only shows 5 instead of 7(if i ride every day) All my rides have a HR information from heart monitor. Any ideas why is this happening? Thanks

I am building a web-based calculator that helps athletes estimate how much time they need to complete a specific lap based on their previous activity data.I would like to ask: Is it allowed to access a user’s lap data from their Strava profile using the API, with their permission and proper authentication? Are there specific scopes or limitations I should be aware of when requesting lap-level data? Can this data be used to provide insights or time predictions back to the authenticated user, as part of my app?

I'm catching flack from Motorcyclists when I ask them to (please) not use the E-bike Category to record their rides. When I look at segments and totals for my ride they are blown out by motorcyclists results. How are we supposed to compare like categories when users are in the wrong category. As an Enduro Race Timer by trade, I fully understand the difference between all of the different users, categories and the abilities of each. The general response to my requests has been that Ebikes ARE Motorcycles. I can't even begin to explain all of the reasons Ebikes do not equal a Moto.  All I'm asking is that the Moto riders out there find and use an appropriate app for recording Moto Sports. Sure, STRAVA, add it in PLEASE! EMTB'ers just want an equal playing field.  

Hello,Today, I forgot my Garmin watch and recorded a swim activity with my Apple Watch. I saved it after, and when I got home it was not synced. I forced the sync via the Apple Watch Stava app, but the activity is nowhere to be found. I forced restarted the Apple Watched and the iPhone, nothing. I even downloaded an app called GPX Export as suggested in another thread, but the workout is not there. I am afraid that the activity is gone - my wife had the same experience a week ago. Any thoughts?Thanks!P.S: I recorded a dummy swim activity when I got home, and it showed on the iPhone right away. 

I read in ... that there was a "known issue" with Android maps, but seriously, is this still going on? Or have I missed an update? If I click in to the map on a "longer" activity, all I see is a white background. My 30km ride the other day is fine, but the 600km audax I rode this weekend just doesn't show the map.Come on Strava, fix it please! Not much point paying for the features if they don't work!

Gostaria de solicitar que no strava tenha um parametro que eu consiga sincronizar as etapas dos meus treinos seja de corrida ou ciclismo .por exemplo em uma corrida no garmin onde monto meu treinovem as etapasaquecimentotirodescansocorrida levee tal….a solicitação seria que ao parametrizar e eu efetuar o treinamento no fim da atividade o strava colocasse as etapas feitas na descrição da minha atividade, com isso eu teria um controle melhor do que eu fiz no treino quando for analizar.vi que recentemente tentou ser feito isso mas teve alguns usuarios que vendem treino e planilha que nao gostaram, por isso sugiro que seja criado um parametro e quem quiser utilizar a ferramente que faça uso

Would it be possible to use the heart rate sensor from an Apple Watch to sync with a ride recorded on the Strava iPhone app? 

Hi all, Reported this to Strava a couple of weeks ago and had no response… so thought I’d try here. Recently, when I record a Weight Training or Workout activity using my Apple Watch, during the session Strava will close randomly and sometimes restart the timer back to the beginning or at least knock a few minutes off. However, when I save the session, most of the time it records the full session (other times knocks a few minutes off). Anyone else experiencing this issue?  UPDATE FROM STRAVA:Hello all! We’re happy to share that this issue has now been resolved in the latest app update. Hi all, I would some suggestions on how to get actual help from Strava Support. I’m currently stuck with a cancelled subscription, and I am wanting to subscribe to the Runna + Strava bundle.  This journey so far has been harder than training for a marathon. I am now into week 4 of attempting to subscribe to the bundle. Here’s the run of events. Week 11. See the new bundle, attempt to subscribe. Says I can’t due to subscribing through Google Play.2. Read FAQ on Strava website. It suggests to cancel my plan to get the bundle. I do this.3. Once cancelled, I attempt to buy the bundle, but now I can’t resubscribe. 4. Enter Support Ticket #1 - No responses at allWeek 25. Support Ticket #2 - Automated response right after it was created6. (2 days later) Support Ticket #2 - New textbook response with links to the FAQ page that told me to cancel so I could get itWee

Bug since the last few days. Tried restarting the app, clearing data, and reinstalling. Android. Click a profile then try clicking any pictures including the button saying 'All Media '.

Is there a way to turn off personal records, and suggested challenges, and all the other automatic junk I don’t care about in Strava? Yes, I get that all that is important to a lot of people. But I’m not trying to be a super athlete. All I care about is recording my track and heart rate.

Does anyone have the problem with map visibility in app? When I zoom out, the map is looking like in the fog and cannot see whole activity on the map 

Has anyone else run into this issue? It appears videos on run/bike activities (anything with a map) are showing up in feed as squares suddenly? If you click into the activity, you can still see the whole 9:16 video, but the preview in the feed seems to be cropping them to squares, which is really annoying.This was not the case a couple months ago. Not sure if the change is intentional or a bug. Thanks for the thoughts/help!Matt

Pretty much what the title says - a few days ago I noticed that using the “Correct Distance” function on the desktop app has stopped making any changes to my recorded runs. Previously when I used it I’d usually add about an average of like a fifth of a mile or so to every run (and shave off like 15 seconds in average pace lol), and I’m certain my Apple Watch hasn’t magically improved its GPS capabilities in the last few days to the point where every run is now somehow flawlessly recorded. This is of course the most first world of first world problems, but just curious as to whether anyone else has experienced this, or if Strava has changed the functionality so that it would result in this happening. 

Hello. I wonder if anyone else has successfully had their profile restored? Or had the same issue? I changed phone handsets (iPhone 11 to 16 pro) and around the same time had a temporary network issue. My apps including Strava had all transferred over, I’d connected my Garmin watch to my new handset, and synced the Garmin and Strava apps on my new phone. The network issue was sorted, my old phone traded in and wiped, went back into Strava on my new phone- and my profile is now gone. Same login, but no profile photo, no activities, following no one, no photos- but randomly 5 followers. Nothing else. Have contacted Strava who send automated replies with links to suggestions such as restoring deleted activities. There are none to restore- no suggestions work. I would really like my entire profile including all my contacts (65 or so). Is it fixable? Can Strava restore my profile in full from their server? Are there any other solutions.
