whenever you’re in edit mode and you drag a map to see another area, it always drops a new waypoint which you then have to delete every time! should be a way of moving the map without creating a waypoint. 

Hi! My recent WattBike activity is appearing in my notifications and contributing to my weekly goal but not showing up in my activities or on my feed. Please can you assist.  

I have an ongoing problem with Strava displaying incorrect step counter compared with steps recorded on my Apple Watch and iPhone. I’ve been trying all sorts to fix the problem, calibrating, disconnecting/reconnecting, location services are always on etc etc.Simple example as shown here, only 1k steps recorded on Strava but at least 1600 recorded by phone and watch according to health data. Why is that, every single walk I do is inaccurate regardless of location and if I have a friend doing exact same walk with me in terms of distance, their counter is always greater than mine.  

This is driving me nuts. There are several segments in the climbs near me which have KOMs with OBVIOUS bad GPS data; in some cases the entire Top-10 is comprised of rides with bad GPS! I’m talking OBVIOUS bad: Like 215 mph, 91mph, tons of 60-80mph -- up 12% hills! The GPS map on Strava shows them riding over water, trees, looping over roads, going in straight lines through the forest, etc.Most of them can be flagged. It’s annoying that Strava can’t figure out how to automatically flag an 80 or 200 mph segment, but oh well. BUT there are several rides -- including KOMs! -- which can NOT be flagged! When you try to flag it, you fill out the “reason” box, click the “flag” button, and the box just clears. I’ve tried multiple browsers, with multiple flagging reasons, over multiple days. No matter WHAT, some of these BOGUS KOMs and Top-10s simply cannot be flagged!WHAT GIVES?Also: Why are there certain segment

Hello, I'm using the getClubActivities endpoint to keep a tally of individual rides in my club. I would like to limit the response to a certain date, or at least to a certain week (i.e. this week). Is there a way to do this? Getting the date of the activity in the API Response would be enough.  Lastly, I couldn't find info on the units for the time and distance that is returned by the endpoint. I assume it's seconds for time, but not sure for distance.  Any help is appreciated.

Hey, in google sheets, I’m attempting to set up an automated spreadsheet to use a few segment URLs as an input, and provide an output of the segment’s name and also the most recent date ANYONE has completed it. I’ve successfully grabbed the segment’s name, but not sure how to go about getting the most recent completed date. I don’t care at all about the person’s name or time or any personal information - literally just what was the date it was most recently completed. Can anyone offer a good way of doing this via Strava’s API? I have already created an API app as a DataImporter and am using google’s AppsScript editor to aid in this. Thanks for your help and time.

As of about a week ago any workout I have tried to upload to Strava through the API is never being processed. I checked my console log when uploading and I get a response message with a successful response code. Hi Strava Support,I am facing one issue for a bunch of athletes in my team with the API for last few days. Its not happening for every athlete, just hand full. My rest api call for stats is not returning data for the ytd_run_totals . This was working earlier for couple of years now. Hi, I have 2 minute discrepances between Mi Fitness (SmartBand 8) and Strava, beginning October 2024. Prior to that, there were just about 5-6 seconds. I have reported it, but support team doesn’t seem to care.Is there anybody in here with the same issue? Thanks a lot in advance.

Hey Strava, I’ve noticed the following troubling pattern related to the segment consolidation effort.Let’s say there is an old segment based on trails that no longer exist because there has been some rerouting or just a segment based on a very poor quality GPS data. A new segment is created from a very accurate GPS track produced with a recently released GPS watch with dual-band GPS to correct both the segment track and the distance. At the same time the old inaccurate segment is hidden.What I discover some time later is that the accurate segment is gone without a warning - simply gone. The inaccurate segment remains but remains hidden for me. So at the end I have neither. When Strava consolidates segments it would be reasonable to check them against the heatmap and see which one is closest to recent activities. If the consolidation is based purely on the popularity or a number of hits is the main criteria, how would it be possible to account for the trai

Strava is absolutely useless for us skiers. Does anyone know of an app similar to fatmaps? I don't give a damn about running or cycling, I want back the same maps that fatmaps had for us skiers.

I'm unable to perform any GET requests after completing the initial auth setup and successfully exchanging the auth token for refresh token, access token, and expiration date. I am using a Wahoo Kickr Move with my MacBook. Physically shifting gears on my bike did not work properly (gears would make a clicking noise on the Wahoo's cassette and chain would skip). So I bought the Zwift Click which allows me to virtually shift gears, which is great.One issue I have though is that for all efforts above the easiest zone 1 recovery riding I am always in the top range of the 24 gears (usually gears 18-22 out of 24). This leaves only gears 23 and 24 (the highest gear) for harder 3-5 minute efforts when I want to put out 400+ watts. Is there a way to somehow change the virtual gear ratio so that I can make use of all 24 gears and have some gears in the top range left in case I want to sprint and put out 500/600+ watts?Is this something that is achieved by changing the trainer difficulty in the Zwift settings? Any other Zwift setting change? Or do I need to change something in the settings of the Wahoo Kickr? Appreciate any advice :) Ride on!

HiLooking at my app today the matches ride analysis is missing, and the segment analysis is missing most rides. Is this a global issue or someone can resolve through the app?  Mark

When I look for a specific person Y (not following, private profile) in the overview, it says “X is a subscriber”. When I go into my friend X's profile (we follow each other) the person Y does not belong to the person he’s following/subscribing. It also fits with the total number of people he is following.  What’s right? Does X follow Y?Is it possible to hide persons you follow in your list or is it just an error/bug. I know that X followed Y but it was a time ago and Y was part of his list also.  thank you so much 😊

Since approx. 30 hours it’s not possible to login into this communityhub.strava.com. Regardless of browser and system, private window or not, the error after click on “LOGIN” is always:Mostly this comes without asking for login data, only private browser windows asks for that but the result is the same. By the way, login to www.strava.com works faultlessly.Obviously this problem is not everywhere else I couldn’t submit this post. This is a browser that I don’t use for www.strava.com and I was already logged in so I guess my saved login data are still valid.Considering that only a handful of people wrote something in the last day it seems widespread

Was just looking back at some of my first activities recorded on Strava (rides) and noticed that the gear selected for the ride was my current default bike for "ride" sport types (Cervelo R5). The problem here is that the bike I have set as my default for rides was purchased several years after these first rides. For those initial rides, I'm guessing I didn't have any gear set, so I then looked at the rides I had logged just before my actual first ride with my current bike, and see that they too are marked as R5 rides, even though I know by that time I would have marked them as my old bike (Allez).When I recently set my default bike for rides (R5) did that action override what gear I selected (or didn't select) for those old rides, and artificially inflate the miles logged on my R5? 

Tried to write this when forums where down (lol), so brief and to the point here:Fix route creation. Cannot believe it hasn’t been fixed yet, it’s useless now. Nothing is functional, it selects the specific route no one wants to ride, double click adds a way point (I think single click for that is enough clicks, there are only so many, and right now, I give zero clicks for my previous fave function). Concretely: get the functionality of the old model. There are many others things that are wrong, you can find a long list in all the posts that no one submitted when the forum was down.Oh, and make sure you ditch this API circus. I know whoever reads this has zero influence on it, but I just want you to know had bad Strava is becoming.Thank you for once being awesome.

Hi, on my indoor route (Stage 1 - Million Dollar Highway Colorado) today I noticed that I didn't see my wife on the segment the complete climb, "All time woman". Her time was on place 5 but she isn't visible at all. We have the same privacy settings and we are friends IRL (😂) but on Strava as well 😂.  We should also see followers on the site but that isn't visible either.Her profile name brehmweg@duck.com. Thanks for help😊

I submitted two requests one week ago but have not received any response from the Strava team. My project is very urgent, so what can I do to get approval or who can I contact for support on this issue?

I use the Strava app on a Galaxy Watch running Wear OS 5. I have the device’s AOD (Always On Display) feature turned on.When I’m in the middle of a run and the screen times out, it no longer displays the info screen (elapsed time, pace, distance, bpm). Strava should show some info on the screen when AOD is on.Alternatively if it doesn’t work well with AOD, there should at least be a setting to keep the screen always on (and dimmed) while in the middle of an activity so I can easily see the information. The Samsung Health app has this option when in the middle of an activity.
