On 15th September I run a half marathon and got a massive PB. It only recorded as 13.06 however was issued the half marathon badge. I ran with a fellow club member and his recorded correctly. I have tried the correct distance feature however it doesn't work. Can the 0.5 be added so that the half records as PB in best efforts.I have tried to contact previously but no one seems to get back.Would really appreciate help 

Hello,Since some days my API requests are blocked, I get the following 403 error when trying to get a refresh token. My app was working before and nothing changed in my code since the issue started (+/- 1 week ago).Thanks 

Is there a way to use the API to determine when a runner has reached a certain mile number (5 miles, 10 miles, etc) of a run in real time? 

 I ran a 5k today and did run the full 5k but then when I went to upload it it changed it back to 4.99 I went to change it back to 5 can you help me? Correct the distance?

Hi everyone,I use Runkeeper to track my runs (because I like that it tells me my average pace every mile), and then push them to Strava using RunGap.I’ve noticed that on runs where I press pause during the run (e.g. if I’m stopped waiting for a traffic light), when I push the run from Runkeeper to Strava, the pace on Strava is significantly faster than on Runkeeper. Moreover, the longer I’m paused during the run, the larger the discrepancy is between the two.When I do a run where I don’t stop at all, the times are exactly the same. If I only stop for a couple of seconds, usually the discrepancy is only a second or two per mile. But on runs where I need to stop for longer (e.g. if I’m running downtown and have to stop every couple blocks for traffic lights), the discrepancy can get quite large—I’ve had it as large as 50 seconds per mile on some runs. Is it possible to somehow archive or retire previous rides from my stats? I did quite a bit of local riding on a road bike a number of years ago, and am now doing some of the same routes and segments on a hybrid bike at a more leisurely pace. Needless to say a lot of my PRs are from years ago. Can I somehow hide those without deleting all the rides?It is mainly to stop the PRs on my Hammerhead Karoo being now meaningless ones from years ago, that I am never going to catch!

The new generative AI summaries tell me what I did when Strava already does a good job summarizing my efforts. That’s not helpful and uses a lot of compute power for little benefit. How about - if you’re going to jump on that bandwagon - use it to give suggestions how to improve using the current ride and past efforts? Are we balancing heart rate or power zones enough? Should we do more or less intense workouts the following day? Maybe we could put in some details about our goals to help generate recommendations. More like a generative AI coach than some sports announcer giving me the play by play of a game I’m already watching.

Today I used Strava as per usual, then as I was looking over my run the app glitched and took me to the login page. I proceeded to try logging in and it did not recognize my email. My account still exists as my friends can see it but I can’t seem to get access to it now. Wonder if this has to do with Fatmaps being taken down.

Hey All, I’ve created a custom GPT that interrogates my Strava profile so I can ask lots of things. It’s working well but it does not pull info from the Description field in the Json string. Any ideas why not? "description": "Comprehensive ride description after recent update.",   This just seems to contain placeholder text despite there being a comprehensive write up. Cheers Matt

Hallo,I have following issue:I have my activity in FIT format. There is NO GPS data in my activity just:Distance Speed AltitudeIf I try to upload this FIT using standard WEB (+) button everything looks OK, altitude (gathered from barometer) and elevation gained is displayed as expected.But if I try the same file using API /uploads POST then there is NO Altitude data displayed for exactly the same activity.Am I doing something wrong during API upload?FIT used is attached.Thank you very much for pointing me to right direction.

Is there an available api endpoint to create and/or edit a group event?  I looked at the api reference page but didn’t see anything.

I'd prefer to NOT get Kudos for my rides.Is there a setting to "hide" Kudos from my rides?I'd just prefer to not get them.

Had to accept new privacy policy when opening the app and then when I went into settings to opt out of sharing my personal info with third parties (because it shares it by default), I was unable to opt out. If I turn it on to opt out, it immediately goes back off when i come back into this setting and says network error. I am currently not seeing a way to stop sharing my info with third parties on the web for my account so it appears there is no real way to opt out of sharing my personal info with third parties.

I have missing Strava app on the watch but on the phone it says my watch is connected to it this is annoying anyone could help me solve this ? 

Hello!The first problem I met was that Strava activities recorded on my Apple Watch didn't appear in my feed. They were available for sync on my watch even though they did not appear in my feed after I clicked "Sync", literally nothing changed after this action.I decided to reinstall Strava on my phone but after that it's not available on my watch at all. iOS 17.5.1watchOS 10.5What should I do to:- make the Strava app available on my watch again?- how exactly should I sync the unsynced activities to see them in the feed?

I have this memory that in previous versions of Strava if you followed a route the track of the route was given by a red or orange line. When I walk in the outback, I often put the trip into Strava as a route, so I have a backup in case I am unsure where to go. I have the version for Android, and this line doesnt appear anywhere and I dont see any settings where I can turn this on. Is the line still a thing?

Recently I realized my heart rate data is no longer being shown on Strava when it's sent from Garmin or Whoop and after having researched it everything is saying I need to allow data permission. But I cannot find it in the settings.

Strava indicated that when they were taking over the Fatmap platform that all features of Fatmap would be available on Strava.  I cannot for the life of me figure out how to mark a single waypoint as I could in Fatmaps.  I have to create a route in order to create ANY waypoints.  For example I would like to mark a potential trail head.  That is it.  I don't want a route.  I could do that on Fatmap.  I cannot on Strava.  This is a simple function that in my opinion would make Strava much more appealing and user friendly.  Is there a way to do this or is this something being incorporated in the near future>

Hello, recently I've started using a Garmin forerunners for my running activities. Since I was using a smartwatch with poor GPS all activities in Strava regarding this old smartwatch should not be considered valid. I would like to delete all activities regarding this old smartwatch:- either deleting all activities before a certain date- or deleting all activities coming from zepp app sync 

The new route planning functionality on Android is nice and all, but now I can't seem to find any of my saved routes, including new routes I created using the new interface. Did this relocate in the app, did it go away altogether, or is it user error on my part?

Strava says "Segment creation in this area is disabled because it has been identified as private property, having restricted activity access, and/or other reasons" Support site says it's a known issue and they're working through it, is anyone else having this issue? Hopefully it'll be fixed soon!

I noticed some changes to My Routes.  1) The biggest problem i have with the route planner is when switching from shortest distance to most popular.  Please allow that switch to take effect from the current waypoint to the next (like you do for manual mode) OR from the point you selected that option going forward, as opposed to applying that method of routing to the ENTIRE route.  I spent an hour crafting a route and couldn't get it through an alley (it did a 2-mile circuitous loop to the next way point), when i switched to shortest distance it REROUTED MY ENTIRE ROUTE.  Ouch.  2) Please allow us to delete waypoints from the list on the left again!!  Bring that back!3) It is a small issue but kinda frustrating: we used to be able to grab a part of the route between two waypoints and drag it through a particular place. But now the planner cannot process that action, and the route gets discombobulated and jumbles the route (hence the reason we need

I like to create segments for my runs, so I made a few on a trail near a local lake. Now, the interesting part, is that so many of the best runs obviously are skiing acitivites, given that the pace is sub-2min/km here and there (typicall steep downhill), in the middle of winter with snow and ice everywhere, and pacing in general makes much more sense to skiing runs (like, way more variation than you'd typically have during a run). So, I reported as many as I could of them, to clean up the rankings, but now it won't let me report more.I guess I will eventually be allowed to continue, if I bother, but isn't there anything that can be done that's a bit more efficient? It's not a matter of life or death, of course. If there are rankings, they deserve to be as correct as possible.
