Is it possible to change the order of challenges on the Android Strava app? I need to scroll all the way to the end of 2024 to see the current challenges.

I have had Strava for many years and the 10 year ago me can’t compete with current me. Please add a feature to allow the clearing of all past personal PRs or perhaps add a new category with annual PR. Garmin has this feature ON THE FREE ACCOUNT so it would make sense that Strava could at least do this on the paid account.  

Is there anyway to separate my feed into separate groupings or tabs?  I’d love to be able to have separate feeds for local friends, college friends, people I coach, etc.

As title states - im curious if there is a server to server pattern available for the strava api? I am using only my own feed and will be including it on a blog site i run. Webhook patterns, oauth2, etc..  all fine and well but id like to eschew the need to regularly click through the login process.Any options here (did I miss a page of the docs?) or am i going to build a headless browser task that just chews 1.5s of lambda cpu every few hours/days to walk through the UI pattern and update my token/keys in a dynamo table?

Hey friends, I've been dying for an "all-time local legend" feature (i.e. number of attempts on a segment not just in the past 90 days). I'd really like to build it myself from the Strava API but I'm not sure I can extrapolate the data from what the API surfaces. I'm able to get the local legend data for a given segment, but nothing before the last 90 days. I'm wondering 2 things:- Am I missing an easy way to solve this problem?- If not, would the Strava engineering team every consider adding functionality to the API to fetch all time local legends? (Or even fetching local legends for a given time range).Any thoughts are welcome!

I am in the process of integrating Strava into my application and have encountered an issue where manually added activities are successfully synced via the webhook, but GPS recorded activities are not syncing.

Either Strava sopped the Commute Challenges, or I can’t find them.The last one I see is September.https://www.strava.com/challenges/September-Commute-Challenge-2024 If there is a November (and December) challenge, can someone post the link here please?

I try use api “strava://oauth/mobile/authorize” on iOS app but Strava can’t navigate back to my app.My deeplink is : “myapp://strava-login”, what should i put in setting Authorization Callback Domain on Strava.

 I think it would be much easier for everyone to see, if our goal is a horizontal line and the goal dots are joined with a line forming an easy visible graph, instead of a screen full of dots.

I wonder why everybody here lives around Mt. Kenya? I am a very proud neighbour of Mollekensberg (BE - Herent), Sigarenberg (BE - Winksele) and many other hills that are absolutely massive compared to human size.So I'd like to change my profile location to one of these epic hills in my own backyard,that also reach for the stars, just as much as Mt. Kenya.Greetings from Belgium; land of epic hills (compared to human size).

It appears that for any activity older than 6 months nobody shows up on the flyby for any activity I have. It seems like pretty much exactly a 6 month cutoff, anything longer ago than that when I click on the flyby I can see my track, but nobody else (even for activities where I know previously I could see others.) Is this something Strava is doing to save space on their servers or something? I really liked being able to go back to previous years' races to see where I was losing/ gaining time on people, so I hope they turn this back on soon!

Until October, I was able to sync & publish my Technogym Treadmill runs with Strava. It has stopped working. Any recommendations?

When a GPS activity is sync’d from Withings app there is no “device_name” in the strava api response to GET Activity. I recorded a Cycle in withings app and then sync’d it to Strava - and inspected it via the API playground. What i noticed there was “device_name” in the get activity response… however when i download the GPX file i do see: <metadata>    <link href="https://www.withings.com">      <text>Withings</text>    </link>    <time>2024-11-24T17:51:10+00:00</time>  </metadata>  <trk>    <src>Withings</src> Why would “device_name” be missing in the api response?

HiI rode this morning came back , finished ride as normal clicked save on the Garmin but the ride hasn’t uploaded to Strava v?it’s in my Garmin connect app . I have uninstalled and reinstalled Garmin connect deleted and re added drive from starva but it still won’t upload v?

First post... hope I'm in the right "location".  I've duplicated a route created by someone else. I'd like to keep the same route, but start and finish at a different point, about halfway along the existing route. Can't find any insight on this.  I've tried dragging the start point, rearranging way points, deleting start point, etc. None of these accomplish what I'm attempting.  If I click on a waypoint near where I want to start, it lets me "use manual mode", "end here", or "delete". Not "start here".  Is it possible to do what I'm attempting? Thanks!

Hello Strava Community,  I have been experiencing a strange issue lately. First to clarify that I have been using an Apple Watch 9 for the last year. Previous watch was the Apple Watch 3 Nike version. I have been using it for all kinds of activities, running, OWS, Triathlon, Pilates and many other sports. I’ve been to Strava for over 2 years now, so that means both my Apple Watches have recorded all sorts of sports. My problem has only recently started. I do Triathlon. So on Apple Watch is the Multisport option. At first, I had my activities imported on Strava and of course the map was visible on my imported activity. And as I said this is for the last 2 years for sure. But since October 2024, my triathlon activity imports on Strava don’t show any maps. To be noted, I have not made any changes or adjustments to any of my devices what so ever. I do get maps for other activities, i.e. OWS i did a day before my triathlon race, or running, but not for the triathlon.  Does any one have any

Good day I have an activity recorded on the 16.11 which does not want to import to my activities from my apple watch. One moment it imports - shows a tick but does not count towards my weekly goals and does not show up on my activities, and then strangely a few moments later the same activity shows up in my notifications that it still needs to be imported.  I have tried to reboot, logging out, deleting the app - but nothing seems to work in order to upload this activity. I did another activity on the 17.11 and had no issues with importing. Strangely I also cannot seem to be able to delete the “imported activity” as it does not show up on my activities. Please help? 

There is a ~quarter mile long cul-de-sac in my neighborhood that descends just under 100’. It registers on Garmin. It shows up on Strava’s topo map. It shows up on the uphill section in a Strava segment. However in the activity is recorded as completely flat. Just that one section.  

I have two activities that, when I click on the link from the list of all my activities, I just get a page that states “Oops! There seems to be a problem”. I have raised a support ticket several times now but when I check back later to see if there’s been any response, I’m told the ticket has been closed but I can raise a ‘follow up’! Any idea how I can resolve this? Whilst I would like to see my activity, I really would like to download the gpx data for these two routes.I have almost two thousand Strava activities and as far as I can remember this is the only time I’ve ever encountered this problem.

The Strava app on Android has started making a habit of popping up a message pointing out that it is possible to look at my profile.This functionality has been there for ages and I have opened it often enough.  Why does the annoying popup keep reappearing?

Hello, I have encountered two issues when using an Apple Watch to record a run and then syncing it to Strava: When the Apple Watch is connected to a treadmill (e.g., Life Fitness), the Apple Fitness app matches the treadmill's distance and pace per lap. However, the figures on Strava do not match those on Apple Fitness. During an outdoor run on a track, the Apple Watch can detect the track and, by selecting the lane used, provide precise measurements for distance and pace. However, when this workout is uploaded to Strava, Strava displays different distances and paces per lap. Do you know what might be causing these discrepancies? Thank you.

My app seems to have updated recently and now the Strava route suggestions is not working.It will not come up with any routes when I ask for hills, hard efforts, off road etc from my location even though it used to have dozens of suggested routes.If you remove some of the filters, eg difficulty, it might come up with a supposedly hilly route that is pancake flat, and not starting anywhere near your location.It really isn't fit for purpose at the moment, which is really frustrating as it is the main reason I pay for premium .

In the response to API get activity - it would be good to know if the GPX/FIT file was:uploaded via web interface uploaded via API itself uploaded via an integrationthis will allow other apps to distinguish activities the user has uploaded via the web interface from other sources.many thanks
